Yeah, he was 'officially' promoted to the first team squad yesterday alongside Marcos Lopes and Kelechi Iheanacho. He's been playing in pre-season and signed a new 5 year contract a week or so ago. Won Young Player of the Year in the SPL last season and made his Belgium debut at the end of the season. He has every chance of winning a first team spot this season I'd say.

The tweets are by reliable PSV followers (one for a local newspaper, the other for Voetbal International-both broke the news on the transfer). Thijs Sleegers now has an official job at PSV as media manager, he's quit his job as journalist a few weeks ago. They say the sum the BBC mentioned is bollocks, in Thijs his last tweet he said he got a whatsapp message from PSV 'if only it were true'.
That's encouraging for City. Ye could really do with a couple of homegrown stars and a homegrown CB is always a plus.

I don't know. I just know that RVP publicly thanked Woodward for the way the move was handled. I'd pay much more attention to that than some perceived slight from the absence of a tweet.

Yeah, definitely. He won't actually count as HG until he has another season with us but that doesn't matter at the minute as he is still under 21.

Appreciate it, if it's any comfort my scouse mate is now a bit flustered and arguing that Firmino is "worth the extra dosh" when apparently he was cheaper this morning.. Bizarre I know.
