It would be the worst thing we could do imo, it will set us back years. 4-4-2 and 'blood and guts' football.
No thankyou, football has moved on.

would probably be more interesting than trying to be a Barcelona-lite, in terms of lack of entertainment, but without their finesse

Maybe they are too busy trying to find out who Louis van Gaal's imaginary surprise is.

Woody, it's time to up your game. With di Maria going, get us someone to get excited about.
I'm genuinely concerned that he may think this is the case. Our two megastar signings last year were complete flops. I hope he doesn't think he needs to make more over the top non-well thought out signings.

I know Tancredi is banned, but fwiw, he's claiming that we've reached an agreement with Barca over Pedro. The price is €32.5m.

A source at the English club told us the following:"We don't understand the reasons Real Madrid don't want to pay. If they really want De Gea, they must pay the asking price. But, all of a sudden, they're saying nothing. Manchester United understand that for our goalkeeper it is a unique opportunity to play for Real Madrid. It's his call and we can't stop him, but not at any price."

"We realise the transfer window is open but it is unsettling not knowing who will be playing in goal next season. The best thing for all concerned would be for the deal to be agreed on as soon as possible so both teams know what their squad is and for the player's peace of mind," MARCA was informed by a bemused and sour United source.

 ''a source at the English club'' indeed.

They're shameless.

:lol:Will probably happen.

He would say, it would have halted the development of 'insert random academy player'

And that player would be playing in league one by then
So after the Moyes debacle, you have no problem with hiring someone as inexperienced as Giggs?

I don't think moyes' problem was inexperience alone. He could manage a team well. However I think the players like vidic and Ferdinand didn't respect him. It looked like even Giggs had trouble with his ideas

However Giggs is now assistant manager and probably has authority over the players now. So there isn't any issue of players taking him for granted like how they did with moyes. Lots of assistants have succeeded their bosses like Joachim low in Germany vilanova at Barca etc.

Tancredi should probably not be banned if we're going to allow most of the gossip mongering tabloids and retweet sites to be fair game here. He was one of the first to call Vidic to Inter last year as well.

As well as Falcao to United last year.
