What a fecking idiot, thing is that he'll set the French league alight and every cnut will be saying what a mistake it was for us to sell him. Without anyone saying what a shit league it is

Or people will simply forget about him.

Sorry, I meant in general. It seems to be a graveyard for players carear.
Yeah agree, be surprised he wants out considering we're back in the CL and on the upturn in rebuilding etc. I'm gutted he's going, really thought he'd turn things around this upcoming season

Depending on the structuring of our deal (bonus-based payments) with Real and what we've agreed with PSG, we might not even lose any money at all.

How is this any different from before? French media have been spouting the same rubbish for a few weeks, now. The English media are late on the act and using French reports as their sources.

Because they're saying it again?
When all the press start to quote and agree with the information is because they consider that is reliable I think. Before was France football, and Marca weeks ago and now is L'equipe who is saying that is done. The amounts are also similar.I think that is a good deal for United by the way

They're all running with the L'Equipe story, not all citing different sources.

It's really not indicative of anything.

The only reports we've had over here are either 'according to reports in France' or from rags like the Express, Star, or Mail that will print anything.

Until a reliable United journalist puts his name to it no one over here has sources them telling them a move is going to happen.

It's fairly obvious he's off and someone or the other in the press got it right. Even if others are quoting from the original story, the increased frequency probably means the news has spread. I don't know why some people get all worked up trying to disprove the media.

Because they're wrong 90% of the time?

there was a time (think it's Ilkay Guendogan case) when Sport Witness decided to investigate the source of claims by targeting the Mail article first, which had the source in another Express or something article. they traced on and on, to a German article, which had the source of claim coming from, you know it, the Mail. a real merry-go-round

Looks like he's off tbh, too much noise now,I'm going to be bitter and say he just couldn't cut it in EPL. His first season reminded me a bit of Ozils , at least Ozil didn't run off

I'm quite sure people aren't getting 'worked up', but the media are wrong the vast majority of the time and contradict themselves with great frequency. It's not exactly odd for that to be pointed out.

Please don't say that, god what a fool I've been, I've believed every single word of every single journalist so far, god I'm so naive

I think it's more to do with his wife than him running off after his mixed first season.

I reckon he's using it as an excuse.

I really don't think so. He's more than good enough to play in the league, and he's spoken about how he stands up to these challenges. I truly believe that, if he was to go, it'd be because his family fear for their safety, and justifiable so.
