Presumebly if we're letting him go we must be confident about bringing in Pedro or someone else.
No. It has to be a player who will score goals, assist and play for the shirt. Not sulk around. If di Maria goes, it has to be a world class player to take his place. Ronaldo or Bale.

Could have something to do that he would have cost them north of 50 millions for a player who performed to a world class level for about 6 months in his career?Wonder why Pep never showed any interest, considering their need for wingers this summer?
A question worth asking?
bein ?
isn't that game over then.

Well said.No. It has to be a player who will score goals, assist and play for the shirt. Not sulk around.
To much smoke for it being a rumour. Im starting to believe he is a goner. Just hope that the people at the club have anticipated for this potential exit of Di Maria.

Believe me mate, I am as anti-transfer muppet as they come. I usually tend to favour giving what we have a go instead of buying new players. I would be perfectly happy with trusting Jones, Smalling and even Evans the coming season and I would have no problem giving Januzaj, Pereira and Lingard a chance at the expense of buying anyone short of a Bale or Reus. I'm trying to say that it has nothing to do with wanting a shiny new toy every year but I understand why you would allude to this as this seems to be the attitude among plenty of our fans.lol he's still our player.
At least wait until the club annouce it before we start with the ridiculous U turns on how amazing a player like adm is.
pitty if he's gone, he probs just found it hard settling in manchester.
The figure they are throwing around actually makes sense if the supposed 25% of the £59m fee we paid is based on appearances. 75% of £59m is £44.25m = €62.54m. So we're essentially getting our money back, if all the speculation is correct of course
Tom Coast seems more like a gossip monger than a journo.
In fairness he is not forging a rumour, he is simply a mouthpiece of other outlets in regards to this rumour(s).
That would make more sense, but it sounds very stupid of Real to agree to such a structure and have something like this happen. The figure they are throwing around actually makes sense if the supposed 25% of the £59m fee we paid is based on appearances. 75% of £59m is £44.25m = €62.54m. So spreading rumors. Probably just as bad then imo.

Well thats pretty much the sole reason for Sports Witness existence, although he doesn't seem to assess the sources objectively like the rest of them do.
He can't read french.
So many questions around this Di Maria (potential) exit
- When did the club realize he could be a goner ?
- Did United bank on his statement of him wanting to be a success here ?
- Did the club give Di Maria (and agent) a deadline ?
- When giving a deadline, did the club already plan for a successor ( one would argue ''ofcourse!'')
To many questions, guess everything will unfold within the next couple of days.
If we sold ADM for £45m and without getting Cavani then I have lost all respect for Woody/LVG with our transfer dealings when it comes to selling.
He claims to be half-french
