This the same rag which ran the Fabinho to United story?

As you surely know, newspapers hire hundreds of different journalists, especially when it's one of the biggest in a country like France. This article is signed by Damien Degorre who has been following PSG for 11 years and is currently with them in the US. Not that it makes him any special nor does it give any superpower to foresee things, but he's always been quite good at getting inside information about locker room stories and many other things that most French journalists not following closely PSG just don't know. Tranfers are the hardest part of sports journalisme for those that really try to inform and not just try to win a click competition, because they have to gain the trust of clubs, agents and mostly players - who leak loads and loads of confidential stuff - and many people use them as well for their own interests. But I wouldn't follow the current trend of just rejecting it like it' nothing, especially when it comes from a guy who's PSG dedicated and not transfers dedicated, there might be something coming...

Any more news on the surprise? Surely he can't hide a player from the media.

Is it just me or French media went full Marca x1000,i mean they sound so desperate for Di Maria to join PSG like he is Messi or something.

I'd be lying if I said I don't fear l'equipe are telling the truth this time

I'd also be lying if I said billy zane still looked like billy zane

Memphis scored 22 goals in 30 games from the left? I didn't realise he was that good, even more reason to try him out as the support striker if he fits the manager's profile, he is a goal machine if he did that from the left flank.

It's not Louis' fault Rojo isn't ready yet or Angel di Maria, blame the international tournaments. Signing a player can take time therefore it is not uncommon for player or two to be signed in August, it's not Louis' fault Schweinsteiger is injured.

Out of that team I think De Gea, Shaw, Jones, Darmian, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Young, Depay, Mata and Rooney are fine, the only player you can have a problem with is the lack of Smalling for Blind however it is understandable his reasoning for playing Blind especially if he wants him as a centre back.

The team isn't really disappointing, it's at least as good as the team that beat Spurs 3-0, in that match De Gea, Jones, Blind, Carrick, Mata, Young and Rooney played, this team has Darmian, Shaw, Schneiderlin and Depay instead of Valencia, Smalling, Herrera, Fellaini.
Jesus wept if anyone believes it is understandable to have Blind over Smalling as our starting CB.

So to sum up according to o Jogo PSG are bidding €35m for William carvalho according to l'equipe €65m for adm and according to this guy €120m for Ronaldo ? Seems legit

They've supposed to have bid €38m for Lacazette as well so getting on for 300k this window
Their tactic seems to be to bid about 20% below asking price/value and then say to their supporters that we couldn't get the players we wanted because the selling clubs were too greedy so I'm afraid you'll have to make do with Stambouli and Trapp

The only way it makes any sense, is if we're going to have 99% of the ball, and he'll in effect be playing as a midfielder anyway.

Against any team with pace or height up front it can only be a bad thing.

Well if he feels Blind will be our second choice LCB this season then I'm not surprised he's playing him there, the centre backs are very important in building up attacks, the question mark here is Blind's defending but perhaps the manager thinks he can use him as a centre back.

We'll know more about the team against Spurs when the team for Barcelona is released and if he chooses Blind as the centre back it's because he feels he can do the job he expects.

The fact we have been linked with Ramos and Otamendi does however suggest Blind won't be a centre back this season.

Smallings biggest weakness is the one thing LVG expect all his players to excel at, passing. The fact that he has improved in that area, allbeit slighlty, suggests to me that he doesnt fully trust him yet.
