Thinks it's a bit late to let de gea leave now, getting a new keeper without a pre season could be problematic.

Sign a cb and keep de gea for another year. Isn't that mission accomplished ? Or does lvg really want ramos.
 
Come on Ramos. I need some good news after hearing Hulk Hogan is a massive vile racist. My faith in humanity has died.

Of course he would prefer Ramos over otamendi. Ramos like schweini is a winner and a leader.

I've only seen a few youtubes of him (so i dont really have a clue tbh) & he looked pretty good, but it's the standard of Ligue 1 that kinda troubles me.

In sayin that, Drogba wasnt a player i thought would have made the impact he did, but Ligue 1 seemed to be alot more competitive back then, than it is now though..

On a side-note - he looks like a cool dude & every team needs cool dudes :D

He's a good player but whether he's worth that or more importantly can produce that form in the PL, I don't know
Ligue 1 is pretty dire , worse than in the time of Drogba and it'll be worse next season, lot of "top" players leaving, Monaco pulling out of the money bags league, think is a worrying time for french domestic football

He probably loses some sort of loyalty bonus if he requests a transfer

Every transfer is a risk, but spending that kind of money is an even bigger risk to future spending & Ed / LvG's credibility with the board in that process too.

As fans we dont give a shite, but we want the right players in & not have a failure like we seen with Falcao last season.

Yer man looks like a good player, but i cant see us spending that sort of money on him tbh. LvG will want a ready-made Striker that guarantee's goals over the next 2 seasons, but there's not many around of that calibre that are available unfortunately.

Muppet-dream Ronnie, would be perfect though :D
 
It has been a fair while since a story broke in the paper releases at night. Like when Ogden, Ducker etc all put up similar articles and you know there's something to it.

Something better happen soon. I'd like to see us start the season with the new centre half we intend to buy. Last thing we want is to see this search for a defender still going on in late August.

Louis has already said the team that starts against Barcelona will most likely be the team that starts against Spurs, yesterday the following 11 were training together and it is believed will start against Barcelona:

De Gea

Darmian
Jones
Blind
Shaw

Carrick
Schneiderlin

Young
Depay
Mata

Rooney

I think that means any signings we make will be on the bench and eased into the side, the good thing is we have plenty of matches therefore I'm sure players will get their chance.

I doubt any new signings from here on in will go straight into the starting line-up anyway. That ship sailed two weeks ago.
