God, there were reports that they'll sell him since the day he joined. It wont happen.
 
I think LvG is trolling us, there is no surprise striker and that is the surprise, like a twist to an M Night Shamalalalalaala film. Imagine the rage on here, it would almost be worth it.

Months ago I thought that Madrid next transfer would be Reus, then from may I started to read that Madrid was not interested any more. His renewal is not too important since Borussia and Madrid have a very good relationship. Wenger asks for Benzema every summer and since Ozil transfer was closed the last days of market, something could happen yet. How do you imagine Reus, playing as a striker or better on the right in the 4-2-3-1 system?
 
Makes no sense getting rid of Benzema for Reus.

Real Madrid don't have many strikers as it is. Benzema is their only out and out striker.
 
I genuinely think Muller would be interested in a move to United. It's pretty well known how much he rates LvG as a manager and like Bastian, he's won absolutely everything there is to be won at Bayern, hey may be open to a new challenge...?

That being said, I don't think we'll sign him. I think for Bayern to lose another big player, Muller would have to be desperate to leave and hand in a transfer request. Nothing has been said to indicate that would be the case.

I suppose he could play as a striker for us but I see him in his usual LW position and Depay as back up. Obviously that would mean Young gets shipped out. In a 4231

True it doesn't but its RM after all, nothing makes any sense with them, the clubs run by hooligan muppets so you can damn well expect to see Reus and De Gea there by the end of the window.

Could just be agent speak for "if they throw a ridiculous amount of money at us and Bayern agree to sell, then I guess we'll leave".

How do you go from a squad player at Tottenham to PSG? He was supposed to be going to Watford a couple of weeks ago. I imagine he's going to be Motta's replacement.

He's proven in Ligue 1. Was great for Montpellier the year they won the league. He'll be a useful squad player in rotating between Champions League, League 1 and the cup.
 
Not entirely sure what to make of this Pedro news. It was clear Woody briefed the UK press on it. But the Spanish media have also been running with it.
 
I always expected our last two signings to be a defender and a striker (Keeper if De Gea leaves)
If we get Pedro, I don't know what this means, I guess it could mean Di Maria leaves

Initially I assumed that Pedro would be a Di Maria replacement.

As much as Di Maria frustrated me during his first season, I think we need to give him another shot.

He’s definitely replacing Di Maria place in the team. He’s much more of a goal threat than Angel though so maybe van Gaal considers him more of a wide striker, while ADM was a winger playing far from goal. IMO we would be better with Pedro.

Perhaps it's a surprise streaker. Really thoughtful of him to provide that for us.
