Of course Rodriguez was the main one but when Rodriguez comes, DM gets pushed further down the order and the new boys including Bale get prioritised. And as a recently signed attacking option he affects DM.

You're not wrong about Reus etc, just disagree with idea he is a reject.

Not fussed about international football. Carrick is one of our best players and hardly got a game for England let alone pulled up trees.

I dont think di Maria would not get game time because of rodriguez. he was a key player in ancelottis plans. I think we would just have to agree to disagree on that one. yes pedro isnt exactly a reject but no matter which word i use to label him the fact remains that he isnt world class. we need world class players.

I dunno. It's very difficult to get into that Barcelona team. He's always had goals in him - though I don't rate the defending over there as highly. He's sharp and decisive and he's got experience of winning. It depends what you define as world class. This guy when he's playing is always capable.

Was mentioned in the Otamendi thread but post it here. He has made a point a number of times on his time line we are 100% not in for him.

He bought a couple already so I doubt that
Rojo is the only one he bought. I get the feeling Di Maria was an impulse buy when he came available. A luxury we needed in the team so we would have signed him regardless of the manager.
He does seem to have offloaded quite a few south Americans in his time however.

I don't have a huge amount of faith in the English journalists at the moment.

But that makes sense though. What would a CEO do on a tour for all two weeks? Maybe he's done with all the commercial meetings he need to make, and now it's time to go home and hold down the fort.

It was always the plan for him to fly out for the first few days then fly back to the UK to deal with any other club business, transfer related or not.

Oh okidokee, cheers.

I was just messing about with reference to the Fabregas debacle in Australia, but we're not the same animal we were then though - our shit really seems to be together now, thank God..

Roberts is 18. A signing that'd make sense for you, but not sure if he'll progress well, you've got a few talented strikers.

He's an attacking midfielder isn't he? Seems like he's going to be loaned back out to the Championship, but not back to Fulham.

@BumperGraham: .@luke47a Lvg has asked ADM to stay & told him he'll start more. #Cavani demanded to be guaranteed starter last time Utd negotiated with him

The cat in question is that cat from the opening credits of Corrie. The bastard's a legend & has a 1000 lives - he can take care of himself. Maybe its been jailed for abusing Pitbulls again & Ed's gone to bail him out..
Isn't it a bit old now? Do Corrie not have some up and coming kitten we could sign? One that favours it's left side of course.

All this swap talk is nonsense, why swap a winger for a striker. Makes no sense.

Sounds positive if LVG has asked him to stay seeing as he has years to run on his contract, i think theres a good chance he will stay now.

And Cavani can feck off guaranteed starter, he's not even that good.

At this point, pretty much all swap can be ignored. It rarely happens in football. Also, Cavani can feck off with this guaranteed starter nonsense.
