So...when are we expecting the next statement that he's staying at Villa and is proud to be their captain?

Frustrating when I see people put them in the same category as BBC.

There's this weird thing on here in that people put more stock in them than the daily broadsheets too, which shouldn't be the case.

The lads at the newspapers get things wrong, as is the case with such a job, but the guys on the beat have much better contacts than some researcher sat at a Sky news desk.

I actually think the SSN article on DDG was pretty interesting, especially since I still believe them to be above average in reliability. With PA saying the same thing, what has been guesswork until now is now basically gospel.

SNN will basically report anything their 'sources' tell them. BBC only report it when it is a fact.

BBC are clearly top dogs for sports news nowadays.

The BBC have a different M.O to a newspaper and I'm not sure why the two are judged by comparison.

All the Manchester journalists have gone with exactly the same story, he's staying unless we get Ramos and Cillesen is the main target to replace him whenever he does go. They've either been briefed or all got it wrong (could be either given how off the mark they've been with United news this summer).

I know, I just think it was interesting to see it confirmed by credible sources.

They are top dogs for confirmation but in term of breaking a news, they are shit.

people are slaughtering Sterling - but surely what Delph has done is 3 times worse. At least Sterling has been very clear about his intentions.

The Villa fans are probably more relaxed & not over represented in the media. Doubt his kids will be getting death threats. Delph has done what he thinks is best for his career & lifestyle choices, good luck to him. He'll probably need it getting splinters in his arse all season.

Am I the only one that thinks he will get tuns of game time. Yaya is 32, fernandinho is 30 and Fernando is shit.

Sky Sports are so amateur when it comes to these things. Countless times I've seen them say exciting/breaking news coming up, only for them to never say what it is because it turns out their "sources" have been duped and they're too embarrassed to admit they dun goofed...

Sky sports breaking news : Messi will have dinner tonight or if not possible to, will have an early breakfast

So many changes this season that I'm begining to worry how all these signing will gel. :nervous:

Up to now we have only signed one person in Schneiderlin that knows what to expect in the PL. So when we sign these other two players (which IMO will be both again without PL experience); that will be a lot of players to gel together without PL experience. Could be a disaster, no?

ahh i see. Much better

No idea why it's not working. It's one of our head scouts saying be won't be tweeting for a few days because he has some urgent business to take care of.
