Sport Witness: Le Parisien say on their front page that Di Maria is coming and Motta going.

Inside they say he's agreed to move to PSG but much of the report reads like previous speculation mashed together.

The front page doesn't say that, it's written "Di Maria wants to come, Motta wants to leave", in the article they say that he has given his agreement on a 5 years contract, but there is no agreement with United and the negotiation are only at their beginning.

If we sell Angel di Maria I can see Louis van Gaal transitioning to a 3-5-2, Darmian has performed well as a wing back, Depay can play as a striker, Rojo seems well suited to LCB and Smalling + Jones can play RCB, also Ramos would be good in that position.

The only thing that would prevent it is if Juan Mata players well as a RW or Januzaj steps up, alternatively if Young can put in a good cross from the right that could work but if not then the manager might try 3-5-2.

I would really be surprised if we did. We played that because we didn't have balance in midfield. after signing basti and Schneiderlin I see no reason why we needn't play 4-3-3. Mata januzaj RW young depay pereira LW

Mendes pulling the rings all over again with him being apparently in discussion with PSG for Di Maria, this Otamendi stuff and, obviously, the De Gea story...

And Di Maria is also with Eugenio Lopez, iirc.

I know, I said it in my previous post, Eugenio Lopez works for Gestifute.

Ah, my apologies. Not sure why people are giving credence to what is obvious 1+1 paper talk. LVG has stated DM will not leave, unless he asks. He has said he wants to stay here and try and the new signings would only have reinforced his belief in us as a club. I see no reason why he'd want to leave yet. If, after next season he is still underperforming, that's another question. PSG get money to spend because of lax FFP and Blanc makes a cheeky comment, and all of a sudden it's DM to PSG.. It's all too weird for me to believe.

Such a weird decision. Why did we sign him then? He's had one game where he looked a bit rusty but kept a clean sheet and made some great saves. So we definitely are signing a new keeper then. LVG's man management can be unnecessarily rude at times.

I had hoped we'd just give him a shot.
He didn't keep a clean sheet, he conceded that deflected cross at home to Arsenal.

Doesn't @Gerrard in Paris have a contact in one of the French newspapers or something? Or am I just crazy?
I do have a friend who is a journalist, but not a sports journalist. My PSG 'insider' does something else, but I can't really say what. I'm seeing him tomorrow night, I'll have to grill him on this (though the deal might have gone through in the meantime!).

The ADM story is all nonsense
Rehashed and rehashed
The french journalists want a star player to sign for PSG - Ronaldo, ADM etc
The main root to the ADM story is journalists asks Laurent Blanc - What do you think of ADM - yes he's a good player - which translates into PSG are going to sign ADM etc etc
ADM obviously had difficulty adjusting to the PL but that translates into he wants to play for PSG

Despite the relaxation of FFP, PSG still cannot lose money in the forthcoming season, they can't afford ADM and they want rid of Cavani but need a star player to replace him

I know it makes no sense...but it's just got that impending feeling of doom that he will leave.

Would be madness, unless they make a huge offer (much more than £43m).

I think it makes a lot of sense. PSG were his first choice last summer. His family had an awful ordeal. He struggled to adapt, suffered a loss of form and confidence and got dropped. It makes more sense for him to leave.

Personally i hope he stays, but would completely understand if he wanted to leave.

That's hearsay though. We've not heard that from Di Maria. LVG has given him the chance to leave and we've heard nothing from the player to suggest he's interested. If they want him? We should make them break the record. We don't have to sell to them.

And who told you that?
