so much noise from decent french media, seems he is off if they offer us a good deal. Wouldnt bet on him staying

Why are people saying things like 'Ogden doesn't know anything' in response to that tweet?

He doesn't sound like he's presenting it as fact. He's not saying 'Valdes is 100% leaving'. He's just giving an opinion based on how Valdes isn't on tour with the squad.

Exactly. It's the same thing I said when I noticed Valdes is not on tour. The only criticism you could give Ogden for that tweet is that he's stating the bleeding obvious

So who are they going to offer? I'd love Verratti, but perhaps it'd be a bit of midfield overkill...
We don't need Verratti anymore. They have nothing we need. Perhaps Thiago Silva, but he is another player who is 30.

Hope we target Reus if Di Maria leaves.

Yeah Verratti would be great if Schweini wasnt here.

Cavani or Lucas are the obvious ones, even if i dont really want them. If they offer us 60m, i dont want Gaitan or Felipe Anderson. I just wish we would keep Di Maria, there arent better wingers gettable.

If you read the article about ADM - they're supposed to be willing to pay €60m for ADM, sure we would accept that:rolleyes:.

They think also that he could face United in the US - firstly he's not fit and secondly he's on holiday and wouldn't start training until August at least.

Further down the article looks like Thiago Motta wants to leave as they won't pay the salary he wants.

BS

Mark Bosnich, what has he ever known about anything?

Not very pleased about the Di Maria links, seems there might be something to it.

Sport Witness: Le Parisien say on their front page that Di Maria is coming and Motta going.

Inside they say he's agreed to move to PSG but much of the report reads like previous speculation mashed together.

Even if there's something to the Di Maria rumours, we're not selling him for 60 or 65 million euros.

Sport continue their claims today that Victor Valdes could conceivably move to Valencia this summer... or Real Madrid.

We better not bloody sell him! The only way it would be acceptable is if we bring in his replacement before we let him go and even then it would have to be someone of the Bale/Reus calibre.

Marca say the 13,196km between Seattle, where De Gea is, and Melbourne, where Real Madrid are, illustrates the distance in negotiations.

If we sell Angel di Maria I can see Louis van Gaal transitioning to a 3-5-2, Darmian has performed well as a wing back, Depay can play as a striker, Rojo seems well suited to LCB and Smalling + Jones can play RCB, also Ramos would be good in that position.

The only thing that would prevent it is if Juan Mata players well as a RW or Januzaj steps up, alternatively if Young can put in a good cross from the right that could work but if not then the manager might try 3-5-2.

The gloss off this years summer window will well and truly be taken off if Di Maria is sold
