It's almost like DiMarzio is in the meeting room with the club officials. He's grown in my estimation
Right, I remember that he promised that too. Well done in terms of making money, and making CL. Will do wonders for PSV in terms of financial health. And indeed, Pröpper is not bad at all. Any idea who will be the new captain?
The post I replied to was talking about a €40m price saying it may get accepted and I just ran another theory past it. And €70m is the latest price (reported by Spanish papers) which real say they sell Ramos for. and just because you don't see it doesn't mean that the club would not too. As I had said in my original post (which I don't know if you even read) I said 'if the club really wanted him and if he really wanted to come'. We are willing to pay €50m for otamendi And Ramos has more experience and leadership which we clearly lack at the back so we may actually want him. For us €20m is nothing especially in this economy so , if we really want him I don't think we would hassle over an extra £14m or so if it meant we get the quality we want.
I think a lot of people on this forum need to ask the question, why is nobody better in for him?
Casillas has reached an agreement with Real Madrid over his exit. He will join Porto. (AS)
You must be joking if you think 20 million euros is nothing. Ramos for 70 million euros is insane no matter which way you look at it. Also, just because Real want that does not mean we will pay that. We might want a straight swap between DDG and Ramos for all we know but does not mean Real will agree to it. As I said, we would be stupid to take that deal. If Real want to act like dicks, we should repay that compliment and refuse to sell DDG at any cost unless it is a straight swap between Ramos and him.
Memphis, Darmian, Schneiderlin, Otamendi and Schweinsteiger? Add a keeper to challenge Valdes if de Gea leaves and everything points to Woody fidgeting at his desk coked out of his mind 24/7 and screaming into ten phones trying to buy everyone he can before the drugs wear off.
Otamendi at €50m too is insane if you look at it. He was bought last year for little over €10m. And I think most would agree that Ramos is a much more accomplished and experienced defender who is maybe a year older. Yet we are ready to pay the amount for otamendi.
The Point here is even you don't know what the club wants. What you are giving is merely your opinion just like I was giving mine. Simple
When has that stopped Real from getting a new toy every season? They sold Di Maria after his exceptional season to fit in James. Now, i hope we don't sell DDG and Navas has a season of his life.
That's probably the only thing that you can't put aside, a player that can't play regurlaly is useless.
True, but with the Darmian's imminent arrival you wouldn't be counting on him on a weekly basis.
The article doesn't mention Otamendi once.
