Doesn't seem to matter nowadays. How many times does twitter say some club is talking to a players representatives, never the damn club who owns him.

I seem to be in the minority in still thinking he'll be with us next season. The mixture of being an Atletico boy and the fact that De Gea seems too sensible not to realise what a circus Madrid are. How desperate him and his Mrs are to live in Spain/Madrid again is the only real factor I can see in him leaving us. They won't be beating Barca to the title any time soon.

I know, what was LvG thinking starting Fellaini and have him score all those crucial goals for us? It was almost as bad as starting Ashley Young and having him play very well! it will be interesting to see if this happens because there was a guy yesterday on the Official Liverpool forums who has family members who work at the club and apparently they listen to him when it comes to transfer stuff, he said that both Milner and Ings had turned Liverpool down and that it will be confirmed later in the week.
Almost all press / media tweets on transfers seem to be hasty these days - they'd rather be the first to break a story and hope for the best rather than try and corroborate it and make sure that it's accurate first.
Maybe it was the Depay transfer setting up expectations, but I'd thought we'd have done some more business by now given Van Gaal's desire to get on with it.
