He loves the transfer window that guy. Being the bloke giving the news out loving it. Tweets like that are a classic, if he doesn't sign he will act correct saying ''Told you so'' and if he does sign he will tweet some shit like ''It was on but not close, then United upped the deal in mid-June''

He is clueless I reckon.

Even some of our other recent "early" transfers didn't happen until mid-to-late June - Jones, Young, Kagawa, DDG

Players and managers rush off on their holidays first and then can head back for medicals and all that.
 
I saw Jamie Jackson from the Guardian saying we were favourites for Alves. Jackson mostly just guess's and makes stuff up each summer and mostly gets it wrong in the end

To be fair you could replace Jackson's name with most journo's names.

Would love to see someone put together every summer transfer rumour this window and then put what actually happened. My guess is they get it right about 20% of the time.

Who's he supposed to be? :lol: Irish manager from a top club... can only think of Brentan but he doesn't sound anything like that.

I think this is fake though. Extremely unprofessional agent if not - I'm guessing that's not how enquiry's go down and the agent didn't suspect a thing!
 
Wow I got nothing from that prank call other than Benteke wants to leave legally. Well that's good, don't want him smuggling through a tunnel in Aston.

That was my thinking. Was just thinking of managers and Rodgers is the only British top manager, was a poor attempt of him too.

Grow up. Its a job. His home town in the country he is from. Where his girlfriend, family and friends live. Better weather as well. For more money than he'll ever spend as well. Its a no brainer.

We'd all do the same in his shoes.
 
Milner was most effective on the wing this past season for City, no? So why is it that Liverpool are apparently going to buy him as a CM from what I've been reading?

I doubt its genuine.. Not like agents to give out such details over the phone to every person claiming to be a manager
 
Seems like a classic build it up and then tear it down from Bild.They're the one ones that started all the noise about Gundogan to Bayern and now they're the ones calling it off.

He's good in that aspect, very rapid to come off his line but then against Cech he would get easily beaten when it comes to shot stopping. Lloris is a good keeper but I think someone like Cech would be more reliable unless we make some major changes in our back 4.

So what's 'enormous salary claim' amount to? Figure they don't want to go too crazy with the wage bill, but wonder if we're willing to pay his rate.

If this is true then I doubt its due to a poor Cup final performance because he's been playing like that for pretty much all of the season.
 
Must be an Argentinian thing, I remember when Aguero 'favourited' a tweet asking him to tell Messi to sign for City. Still waiting on that one :(
