20 mil euros for darmian makes so much sense that we'll probs spend 25million pounds on coleman

From the comments on here..I thought he would be better plus how come he's only worth £14m?

Probably because either Torino could really use the money as they seem to be a club with no major money or he has a release clause

What is this fuss about Darmian? Is he that good?

Not amazing no, his best attributes are his versatility and work rate (can play cb and lw.) I'm not going to lie and say i've watched him week in/week out. So i'm basing this off torino highlights and individual highlights of him. Apart from playing for italy he's hasn't spent much time at the top level either. He can play as winger so he isn't brainless going forward, something i'm a huge fan of in fullbacks.

the rb options are running thin, for 14m yea I'd have him. Would rather fabihno if really I'm honest.

If that's true then it's looking more and more like we are after Ramos for the RB position. There really aren't that many left available who would improve the team at all. (Coleman is a debatable improvement and I've not really seen Fabinho play much)

I think it'd make far more sense that we'll have Jones fill in at RB, if we were to sign Ramos.

We can't buy one of the worlds best central defenders and play him to the right. Sure he can play there, and very good to, but he's clearly better in the center. Madness to play him to the right.

There's no way we're going to play Ramos at right back ffs

If there's one thing I can be sure we're absolutely not going to be doing, its this.

There are more good central defenders around at the moment than there are RBs. We could sign Otamendi/Godin etc as well as the Spaniard. Phil Jones is not a right back. Being slightly quicker than the average CB and being able to dribble a little bit doesn't change the fact he is an awkward centre back and nothing more.

"He is no better than the players we currently have, I don't see any room for improvement."

Straight outta FM. Jim Lawlor briefing his scouting reports to goal.com/it is interesting news.

Good Keeper, but something about him that doesn't do it for me.

Maybe I'm just been a snob.

He is a decent keeper.seems the slightly better one among the second tier keepers (mignolet fabianski vorm krul and the likes) in the league. The only way we can lure him ahead of Chelsea is if we promise him game time. Maybe we can divide the cup and PL between him and valdes. If we get our defensive upgrades should work. But I think Chelsea would get him.

€5m is like £3m. We save that just by one month of falcao s wages. Why are we being stingy? Assuming the bid is true that is
