Buying a talented young keeper from Spain to develop because the last talented young keeper we developed is returning to Spain.
I wonder how this one will end.

Not exactly a journalist but
If we have strong support from the flanks and midfield, it is pretty much the right decision. Do you think it's depressing because you don't rate Rooney as first choice or RVP as second choice?Depressing but pretty much as expected.
Both teams miss all their penaltiesIf he's ever on the bench in a cup shoot out we know he's coming on for penalties then.
Fecker looks like an extra from the first season of True Detective anyway.
What we need is more youth goalkeepers.
Can never have enough keepers.

For a start put a £100m clause on his ass!Buying a talented young keeper from Spain to develop because the last talented young keeper we developed is returning to Spain.

Straightaway this raises a red flag for me.
Bayern have been in the market for a midfielder this summer and are now receptive to Bastian leaving. What do they know about him that they are content with him leaving?
Can't trust these Germans. If Bayern told me it was sauerkraut I'd check under the sausage to make sure.
Being 31 isn't an issue for me. We can do with an experienced leader used to winning in the middle. Being past his best, he'd still be alongside Carrick as our best imo. He's 31, injury prone, and past his best? But we all know that.
So 5 weeks tomorrow we play Spurs...anyone reckon we'd have signed someone else by then!?
