God damn Woody, sign some players before you lead to the biggest catastrophe in history.
I could understand something like that in terms of a star signing (like Di Maria last year), but I can't see LVG, control freak that he is, allowing core signings he has identified to be postponed, thus missing pre-season tour, for the sake of commercial obligations. Wouldn't surprise me if we did sign a high profile player after the pre-season tour, but we definitely want to get our main targets before July 16th.
Like I said the theory suggests PSV were the side to reveal the Memphis transfer, it's more than likely bullshit just thought I'd share.
No, that's Nolito. This was Fiorentina's GK last year.Is this the guy from Celta Vigo?
€67.5M.How much money have they spent this summer?

There's gonna be a whole lotta salty folks in here if we lose out on players post-FFP relaxation to those FFP affected teams...
Euros25M what, bales of straw, apples?

2 tweets with opposite information
He will renew if in some days the situation doesn´t change (I read that he will be offered a renewal, again)
De Gea plans a strike if he is not sold to Madrid

Why would PSV do that? Genuine question? Whats the point?
After reading both articles I think that the option of a renewal is quite realistic. He doesn´t want to be involved with Casillas and maybe this situation has gone too far. The question is if he would ask for some clause in the contract with a fixed sale price for the future. They write that will talk to Van Gaal(good luck with that) to ask him to unlock the transferHe doesn't have the balls to strike.
I think we're being relatively fair with de Gea to be honest, it's just Real Madrid's offer we find unfair. After reading both articles I think that the option of a renewal is quite realistic. We gave them £60 million for a player that they didn't really want last summer. Safe to assume they think we're a soft touch. If it's true that Real offered around £13m for de Gea, i can understand Utd is feeling insulted, disrespectful.
I think that is a bit for the public opinion, something like "Madrid is silly, United left them with the pocket empty for a player that would be free next year", I believe that in Madrid board mind is not understandable to spend too much in defenses, goalkeepers or defensive midfielders. That should be the end of it then. I can't see what difference it make if he is out of contract next year if they really want him this year.
I was looking forward to read this rumour
Not sure what Madrid are playing at to be honest. It's not like they can't afford £35m, and even if it is the last year of his contract, de Gea is undoubtedly one of the best 'keepers in the world and has a good decade ahead of him, so he'd be more than worth it. By lowballing all they're doing is making a statement that they don't think he's all that, and are happy to wait until he can leave for free. If it were me, I'd be a bit insulted.
As for striking, he's welcome to try it. Fairly sure the club can afford a decent sports lawyer or two... ;-)
I wonder the same, it seems that this summer the things have changedSince when is Madrid worried about being fiscally responsible?
