Looking at the players respective ages then yes I would.
Much as I wouldn't put it past us to give you guys €20 m and DDG, we would lose in that deal, a straight swap if all the stories about Ramos are true ( I have serious doubts) is about fair.

Just like the bosses at your club, you don't understand the situation either. We simply do not want to sell De Gea. But if we're forced to, we want a deal that's best for us. It does not matter to us that you value Ramos at nearly 5 times the value of De Gea. It does not matter to us if de Gea goes for free next year.

Just out of interest, what date does the Adidas sponsorship kick in? Am I right in thinking its sometime halfway through the pre-season tour?
Last month I wasn't too bothered with the lack of signings, but every day further into July gets a little more tedious. They said they wanted things done early, so now im more hoping they really are done n dusted but not announcing until they can use Adidas shirts. There was something Van Gaal said about the Memphis signing being done more quickly than they had intended, but maybe the rest they really are waiting with.
Normally id think the journo's would catch on and it wouldn't be possible, but this silly season has been particularly bad for them, I really cant think of anything that's happened so far that they've had a "scoop" on. Everything we've heard that's actually happened seems to be coming direct from the clubs/players/agents. Seems like the clubs are taking it upon themselves to utilise twitter etc and cut the Journos out of the loop. We did a lot of deals last summer without them knowing what was actually going on too.
Here's hoping the morning Adidas contract kicks in we have one press conference and announce Otamendi, Pogba, Schneiderlin, a right back and De Gea's new contract, Woody and De Gea holding hands saying it was signed in may but Adidas asked for it to be kept hush hush and so they decided to piss Madrid off while waiting.

Well you have to factor in that all the noise coming out of Spain is that Ramos also wishes for the transfer to happen. However the main fact of this situation is that we are tired of Real Madrid coming for our players, so the club is making it as difficult as possible to discourage it in the future.

Bit late but wouldn't surprise me really. I say a bit late, but its only 3 weeks away. Adidas must have been livid at not getting that first American tour to kick things off. Pulling hair out if some of the nonsense transfer stories like Ramos get done and its with Nike shirts too.
