Imagine that the situation were reversed , ie Madrid wants to sign Vidic ,in his splendor, while United are interested in a goalkeeper from Madrid, which is one of the top 3 in the world, but with the contract ending in a year. United has a more than decent goalkeeper to survive that season . Would accept a swap?
What an absolutely pointless signing he was.
Signed for £25 million, did nothing for 6 months and will be probably sold for a profit knowing Chelsea.
It´s assumed that United will do an offer even better to de Gea (Al primer toque is a radio program, Balagué talks sometimes, quite reliable)
Just like the bosses at your club, you don't understand the situation either. We simply do not want to sell De Gea. But if we're forced to, we want a deal that's best for us. It does not matter to us that you value Ramos at nearly 5 times the value of De Gea. It does not matter to us if de Gea goes for free next year.Imagine that the situation were reversed , ie Madrid wants to sign Vidic ,in his splendor, while United are interested in a goalkeeper from Madrid, which is one of the top 3 in the world, but with the contract ending in a year. Caio rejects the loan to Atlético
There is absolutely zero chance of Chelsea selling him for a profit. One they got wrong. What an absolutely pointless signing he was.

That Bayern interest seems to have fizzled out
What a boring summer so far.. Lot of talk but no action! I hope we get done with this crap soon.. Dont know why we're delaying the Schneiderlin deal, its like Woody cant multi task and all his energy is focused on Ramos!
What the feckThis threads been depressing lately. Here's Memphis helping Woody out.

Just out of interest, what date does the Adidas sponsorship kick in? Am I right in thinking its sometime halfway through the pre-season tour?
Last month I wasn't too bothered with the lack of signings, but every day further into July gets a little more tedious. They said they wanted things done early, so now im more hoping they really are done n dusted but not announcing until they can use Adidas shirts. There was something Van Gaal said about the Memphis signing being done more quickly than they had intended, but maybe the rest they really are waiting with.
Normally id think the journo's would catch on and it wouldn't be possible, but this silly season has been particularly bad for them, I really cant think of anything that's happened so far that they've had a "scoop" on. Everything we've heard that's actually happened seems to be coming direct from the clubs/players/agents. Seems like the clubs are taking it upon themselves to utilise twitter etc and cut the Journos out of the loop. We did a lot of deals last summer without them knowing what was actually going on too.
Here's hoping the morning Adidas contract kicks in we have one press conference and announce Otamendi, Pogba, Schneiderlin, a right back and De Gea's new contract, Woody and De Gea holding hands saying it was signed in may but Adidas asked for it to be kept hush hush and so they decided to piss Madrid off while waiting.
I think making him the club's best paid player would make up his mind.Interesting. I don't think it will change his mind though.
I was surprised to read he is a Nationalized Japanese.
1st August.
No that is a different player with the same name. Only just found out after reading your comment and checking google.
