Why would he panic over returning to training?! He's hardly going to be an outcast. He's served United well and a (currently) better performing team from his home town are looking to sign him. Even the fans understand the lure.
Don't want to add to the misery, but I think we "jet off" on 13th July. So we in fact have even less time to get players in for pre-season.
Hope something will materialize in the meantime, but, like you, I'm far from convinced.
Fair points.I'm convinced Morgan will be done by the tour. I'm convinced it will be today or tomorrow. No idea why it just seems that after the furore of all the press hacks saying it was about to be done (clearly that came from a giddy ed) this bit where it goes all quiet is always a good thing because people (including agents) are keeping shtum.
Every transfer does the same thing, even look at recent ones like clyne-press went ape fir a couple of days as things started to happen (i imagine this is where the contract is agreed betwen the player and club) then the medical and legal stuff takes over which is when it goes 'quiet' for a week.

Or more likely, AS are plucking stories out of their arse as usual. The fans have nothing to do with it, if he really is panicking, it will be because of what he said to Woodward and Van Gaal when they discussed about a new contract.
Only if you are willing to sell Ramos for 35-40 million euros. If not, then it is not a fair price.Fair price

That would be genius.Would be a good one if Woody is playing Real. I mean get the price up for De Gae and sell him while pretending to want Ramos, then swoop in and wrap up Otamendi.
I'm not saying the fans have anything to do with him panicking, they obviously wont be present at training. I'm saying that generally the move is unfortunate for United but not a betrayal (like Figo to Madrid or Sol Campbell to Arsenal) so would assume that most players and management would accept his reasons and that there would be no awkwardness at training. As fans we're probably distraught he is leaving but its not like we're out burning his jersey (like Stevie G when he nearly signed for Chelsea). We hope he stays, even to see out his contract but we'll wish him well if he leaves because he has been our best player for a number of seasons. The fans have nothing to do with it, if he really is panicking, it will be because of what he said to Woodward and Van Gaal when they discussed about a new contract.
Think people are looking too much into the idea of getting things done by the tour. I know that is what lvg wants, but it really isn't always possible.
I think these two deals that were supposedly sorted before end of season were depay and Schneiderlin and that will be done by the tour. But any others will most likely be dragged on till end of window.
If ramos happens (it won't) that will drag right till the end of the window, as will de gea. It will be interesting to see if lvg plays him on tour.
I think if more signings were to happen by the tour, we'd have an inckling by now.
Inckling. Thats a word i never thought I'd write down
If this happens, I will literally hand write a letter to Woody saying I love him.Would be a good one if Woody is playing Real. I mean get the price up for De Gae and sell him while pretending to want Ramos, then swoop in and wrap up Otamendi.
2nd day of transfer window people.
2nd day.
Write it down again lad its inkling ☺
Well if we wanted to sign average players nobody else wanted then we could have signed 6 by now too!And Liverpool have signed 6 players! SIX players. We are fecked!

I really doubt he said anything to Woodward or LVG during contract negotiations, in fact i would imagine his agent handled all that. It sounds like newspaper bullshit to try paint this saga as something more thatn it actually is.
That's what I would do. Now that he knows the situation with Ramos, why not exploit the shit out of it?If this happens, I will literally hand write a letter to Woody saying I love him.
Maybe firminio but he's an unknown quantity. But milner and clyne wouldn't have improved our team they would have only added depth. We need to improve what we have.I'd have been happy with Firmino and Milner on a free and I could have lived with Clyne.

(Assuming we get another rb,clyne is nothing special but he's better than valencia)
2nd day of transfer window people.
2nd day.
Well I think Milner for free and Clyne for £10m + add ons would have been fine deals to add depth. Don't nesc agree Clyne is better than Valencia and don't nesc agree Valencia needs to be replaced on the rightback but we do need competition because rafael is absolutley nothing anymore. Milner on the other hand is a bit of a carrick player, not that he is the same type but I mean a bit of a silent force that is important for the team and you know how valuable he is when you don't have him anymore. Not for nothing City wanted to pay him £160k to stay. He is a hard worker, PL proven, can play on any position on the midfield, he is a great signing for free. If that was not good enough for us, LVG can better make sure he has got some damn fine midfielders to add to the squad this summer !
Firmino just looks like a great player, pace, goals, direct, Tech skills... Could have played here as a nr 10 or second striker just fine.
Well if we wanted to sign average players nobody else wanted then we could have signed 6 by now too!
1. Clyne < Valencia
2. Milner does the same things Ashley Young does off late and he is reportedly willing to take a pay cut too.
3. Firmino would have added up the depth but he wouldn't start. Not over mata
