A good player who according to some journalist is a bit full of himself, Porto should be a great school for him.

If true, i'm not surprised. His injury record puts Smalling and Jones to shame. Club would like to move him on, he would like to leave i think as well.
I will hold judgement to see how he is this season. If he is a good, then it is great to extend his contract. If he goes back to his old ways then it might still be a good thing, so we can get some money for him.

Alex Shaw is terrible.
The coach can teach the player how to function effectively in the team but the player must want to learn and have the discipline to work hard not only in training but also on the pitch.
I think Nani didn't have that discipline or hunger to work hard and become better or alteast more effective. He has always looked uninterrested and a bit cocky about his own quality. I think it is the primary reason why it didn't work out for him and why LVG does not want to take him on like he did with Young and Fellaini (both look far more interrested and hungry than Nani ever did).
Ashame because the lad has real talent but if you can't combine with great work ethic than it never works out on the highest level.
He's stating the obvious. This is all our own fault. We hand contracts and big wages out like confetti. Also I like him for calling out Duncan Castles over the Giggs interview.
