I think it's only natural that van Gaal is looking at him considering our priority is a number 6 as he said and I don't think Arsenal will go to great lengths to sign him considering Wenger has said many times he's happy with Coquelin in that role. I don't blame him, Coquelin improved so much from that performance against us 2 years ago. He's like a totally different player and he's still improving. I think he should get a lot of the credit for improving Arsenal defensively throughout the season.Would love for that Schneiderlin rumour to be true, he would be class for us. Not getting my hopes up though, we haven't really been linked with him

Don't sell him short - he's scored 161 goals over the past 7 seasons in La Liga and Serie A. He's more than capable of being a first choice striker, Chicharito will never be more than a sub at a big club.

We would not need a complete number 10 just one of the midfield three who operates slightly further forward with two wide men, Di Maria, Depay etc and Rooney up top.
