Couldn't he speak with clubs in January? I thought if you were out of contract at the end of the season you could look elsewhere in January. Isn't that what Vida did?

IF, and I say IF, this were true and Klopp did become Liverpool boss, if i were him the first t hing I would do is unload Sterling. If the team revolt against a manager, fine you make the change. You can't let one player dictate to the club like that.

Schneiderlin and Carrick behind Herrera would be brilliant. Great positioning, work rate and ability to keep the ball. I'd be very happy with that.

If van Persie leaves and Rooney plays striker alot I'd have no problem with Higuain. He links up well with Di Maria and could be a great alternative. Wouldn't get overly excited about him though.

We only have four really (not including Mata or Di Maria).
If we're going to play a three man midfield we'd ideally like two players for each position so yeah, two more would do nicely. Schneiderlin would be a great start though.
