Let them have him but make them pay. I'd happily accept £50m+

Since it's French TV he must have been led into that response. If he was asked whether Di Maria would be good for PSG straight up I like to think he didn't just throw it out there.

I'd like to see the full interview, may have been taken out of context. Like for example, they asked him if Di Maria would be good for PSG and he just gave his opinion on it.

Still if a big offer comes along I wouldn't say no.

David Luiz to Téléfoot: "If Di Maria wants to join PSG, that would be great. He is a very good player."

Is today an ''interview an afro'' day at Telefoot or something?

Carles Puyol to Téléfoot: "Di Maria would be a very good signing for PSG. He is a great player."

There's far too much smoke around this Di Maria rumour for there to not be a fire.
The only good thing you can say is that we aren't desperate to sell him so unless PSG offer stupid money for him we'll keep hold for at least another year.

Everyone's having a chat with Telefoot it seems. Next up we'll have Bramble saying ADM would be a star at PSG.

So you're essentially dismissing the role he played in the 4-3-3 which he was consistently brilliant in during the latter half of the season. Our defensive issues arose when Carrick was injured, hence the need for a proper number 6, and our creative problems came when Fellaini and Young were found out against Everton and Chelsea. Herrera was passive at times in some of the losses towards the end of the season, but he was always tidy, always feisty and more often than not he did his job.

I'm not going to try to change your opinion on how good he is, but other than Carrick, I don't think there was a better outfield player than him last season. We'd have been much worse off without him. I'd just re-watch the Arsenal FA Cup game if I need convincing of his qualities. The way we lost all attacking threat once he was withdrawn speak volumes of how he ties together possession-oriented football whilst taking those risks going forward.

Consistently brilliant is an exageration but i'm certainly not dismissing him at all. Our biggest selection headache is what i called him.

Maybe the answer is against better teams we need someone who can help more defensively than Herrera. Horses for courses type scenario.

If i could only keep him or Mata in the team though, i'd choose Mata every time.

hehe amazing quotes from Felli

but I'm sure it was meant more along the lines of...

Q: what do you think about the rumours of PSG wanting to sign Di Maria?

A: I'm not surprised he is a world class player, many clubs would want to sign him.

David Luiz to Téléfoot "I am not a virgin."

@FutbolFinn

Fellaini was asked, "is AdM good enough for PSG?"...he answered: "Yes he would be a great signing, he's world class."

He was also asked should AdM stay at United or leave to PSG and he obviously said "Stay at United."

Id take £50m to be honest, we have Depay for the left side and there's little chance of Di Maria playing through the middle under Van Gaal so his position is already covered.

Sell Di Maria but keep Young before Champions League matches ?

Insanity.

Oh God, when the English press get hold of that they will spin it and our stupid fans, who are mainly on Twitter will abuse Fellaini.

I would be happy to see Di Maria go, I just don't like him.

He is a good footballer, but, nah, I don't like him.

Glad to see Depay's being set up for a fall already.

Well Young is a good squad player, it's hard to keep a £60m player on the bench all season as back up.
There are two wings to cover and there's also two matches in a week case which will force Louie to rotate. We don't know if after CL clash we won't have to play Chelsea or Arsenal in three days. Young may be not enough and it's not even that surprising.

The tweets about Di Maria's sale could be only taken seriously if we have someone really good secured and so far I just don't see something solid in the feed... of course there's probably something we don't know about, especially when it's a bit quiet after signing Memphis.

ADM is off to Copa America anyway so he's gonna be focused only on that.

I don't think we would pay £60mil for a player and then sell them after one dodgy season, not unless the player themselves wants to leave, which is possible i suppose.
It will be a shame though because he obviously has the tools.

Could it just be that that twitter account looked at the video and made a mistake in the player?

I have a feeling we will have to whether a storm of bad news before we get some decent arrivals in :(

Look at that Spanish weather though, beautiful clear skies and sunshine. Cold grey boringness here in England.
