BBC. Good grief! Although it does only say "interested" in so pretty much a nothing story...but... BBC!
As per the German Bayern fans on here, Scheini will be allowed to leave if he wants to. Bayern won't stop them. As for Ramos, yeah that's not going to be easy...or cheap.Neither Schweinsteiger or Ramos deal seems so easy as if we are interested we will get them.
Depends also if Real and Bayern wanna sell.
Why do I feel like Madrid are going to end up with De Gea, Otamendi and Ramos and we'll be stuck with Evans.
Other factors though, Ramos and Schweinsteiger have been proved at the top for years, are both consistent, both are winners (including the WC) so can deal with pressure, experienced in cup runs and in Europe, both natural leaders too. That doesn't mean I agree with their signings though as it seems quite short-sighted.I just find it strange we're willing to spend a fair whack on players, admittedly world class ones, who we'll only get 2-4 decent years out of... assuming they don't get badly injured.
Yet we seem reluctant to spend £35m on someone like Otamendi, who we'd get more like 6/7 years from.
Ah. The caf days when Harry Kewell and Damien Duff equalled Muppet Walhalla, The Promised Land. This reminds me of the days when we went aggressively after Ronaldinho, almost got him, missed out, and then over 90% of the Caf at the time thinking that Damien Duff was the best alternative.
So it's been reported by good sources we are interested in; Schweini, Kane and Ramos. Add Depay to that, would people be happy with such a transfer window?
We would still need another midfielder imo, but with those signings we could win the league and go for the CL.So it's been reported by good sources we are interested in; Schweini, Kane and Ramos. Add Depay to that, would people be happy with such a transfer window?
what the hell does it mean?

Good, I'd rather have Schneiderlin.
I wouldn't be annoyed if we got Ramos and Schweini, however for both of them it'd cost a fair whack. I don't really care about price as long as we get the right player(s) in, and I'm not 100% sure these two are.Other factors though, Ramos and Schweinsteiger have been proved at the top for years, are both consistent, both are winners (including the WC) so can deal with pressure, experienced in cup runs and in Europe, both natural leaders too. Problem i see with both, defenders and midfielders is we have a lot of those at the club already.I wouldn't be annoyed if we got Ramos and Schweini, however for both of them it'd cost a fair whack. They'd definitely immediately improve the team, assuming they settle in. I just want us to sign a slightly younger midfielder and a centre back too (Otamendi and Schneiderlin please).
