That's why I don't believe most of the rumours that crop up. Most of them are just formulated to generate views, and some of these get taken so far that they appear to be real. It's basically how I view the de Gea transfer rumours: formulated by Spanish media but taken so far that van Gaal, players, and other notable people seem to perceive it as reality.

Liverpool are doing very smart business this summer, managed to save money by buying likes of Ings & Milner and now they can use that money to buy 2-3 quality players

I like sport witness, but they are very much about clicks and views lately. They could drop a lot of their posts and be more serious again.

That is some serious tin foil hattery! De Gea obviously wants the move.

They're launching a new website plus they've grown considerably in staff compliment (interpreters etc.) so they need the money. I couldn't care less about the headlines they post, I care about the article they post

I know this is not a transfer story but it gives perspective as to why citeh and Chelsea are chasing some home grown players

Could care less? You do know that means that you care more about the headlines than the articles?

Seems to me Ramos is using us in contract negotiations, while we are using him to get back at Real with respect to De Gea negotiations.

£46 million  Do they just run a random number generator and print whatever comes out?!

What nonsense, this whole Ramos story is a red herring. It's all posturing for contract negotiations. He'll sign a new contract before the Summer is out and we should know better than to waste our time trying to pursue him.

I think it's a 2 way thing. He's using us for a new contract and we're using him to push Madrid into a corner for a better De Gea offer

£46.5m is €65m, I guess that's Real's valuation of Ramos. I doubt anybody will pay that, considering he's 29, but we gave them €75m for Di Maria last year, so you never know.

£46.5m actually, and the reasoning for that is probably cuz it converts to €65m.

I think it's €65m at the current exchange rate.

so the buyers just buy and the sellers just sell?

I don't understand the question, the buyer and the seller agree on a fee, the player agree on a contract and the registration is exchanged.
A player doesn't have to give a transfer request and if I'm not mistaken an oral request doesn't count, the player has to make a written request and in that case he isn't able to have his loyalty fee anymore.

A player can leave without fulfilling or renewing his contract, but can still receive a 'loyalty' fee.... sound logic

No, the player then has to agree terms with the buying club. You have no idea how transfers work I take it or you're taking the piss?
oh I totally forgot the player can still not agree with the buying club, jesus
