He's still on our books but looks like he's leaving. Being linked to Italy. Never quite settled it seems, with family issues and might not be what current manager is looking for.
Add a rightback and I'd be happy enough. I wouldn't consider any of those as high profile transfers but they are definitely the kind of signings we need.
Cannot see the point of signing Firmino and not convinced by Otamendi
Add somebody like Schweinsteiger and I would say yes, a RB would be handy too.
Depay, Otamendi, Schneiderlin, Firminho, Schweini, Benzema would be incredible... Maybe even doable?
It would be a fantastic window, exactly the sort of players our squad is missing. Throw in a cheap Clyne as well if no other rightbacks are avaliable and we are ready to go.

Has been so far hasn't it, hopefully now the internationals are over thing will start moving.
If we sign Cillessen, I can't say I'll be jumping for joy but I'll certainly give him a fair chance before dismissing him as sub-par. Besides, with Valdes here already we we have two good options, even if neither is quite as sensational as De Gea (who is?).
