It's discussions like the Depay one going on that got rid of discussions first time round. WTF does it even matter? Move on.

"At the moment" maybe, but the window hasn't even officially opened yet and we've got 2 and a half months until it closes. Depending on how early Van Gaal wants to finish signing players, we could be closely linked to a dozen more yet.

If those 4 players did come in, I'd still want to see a right back, (probably) a replacement for De Gea and if possible another centre mid. Maybe a young defender too (Stones? :p)

Aye, but you can't actually officially complete the deal - which is only done with the transfer of the player's registration - until the transfer window opens. Which only happened last week.

Has the window opened yet? I read on the Guardian blog that it officially starts on July 1st.

Loved Gerard when we had him before. Lots of teams struggled to deal with his directness and we missed that at times this season past.

You're rght, appearently its from June 9th to Sept 1st in England, June 1st - August 31st in the other top 4 leagues.

Can't stand those clauses. If he has 2 good seasons they'll buy him back just to sell for a profit, taking money out of Evertons pocket.
More than a club.

Maybe they are trying the Bayern tactic? "Either you sell now for what we want to pay or we take him next season for free, we aren't in a hurry to get him and the player knows he is getting more money if he joins on a free transfer anyways."

I wouldn't be against that! Give us another season for him to bond with Herrera and Mata and realise he needs them more than Madrid, sun and Edurnity :lol:

This proves my point. "will be joining the first team", not "has joined the first team".
 
tbh if Cech wants to go to Arsenal then his ambition can't be that high

Pogba is the biggest and most expensive that will realistically transfer this Summer. But that is not so interesting for me.

Ronaldo Bale Muller etc dont really count imo as they are just BS non-starters.

Ah, I see. For some reason I read it as most consecutive clean sheets in a row. I am not sure why.
