The Milan clubs, despite both finishing mid table seem to have a few bob now.

New contract signed recently, won't be cheap! Think quite a few people forget he started the first game of the season, surely LVG sees something in him? Was actually hoping to see him feature next season after another solid pre season.

They want him on loan.

In the article it says McLaren wants him on loan. Would be a good move I think.

Guilem Balague: Deulofeu is going to be transferred to Everton. €3m with an option of FCB to rebuy him later on for a price. He didn't want to go on loan.

Would love to have him at United. It would be a tough decision for him to leave now, but I think there's a chance it could actually happen. Should have come a few years back though, and played together with Scholes :drool:

So just a more complicated and longer version of a loan?

The buy back price increases after 2 years and then disappears after 3 years. It's becoming quite popular with Barca and Real. Barca did similar with Bojan to Roma and Real have the same agreement with Morata and Juve right now.

But on the other hand he wouldn't be so cheap if there was no buy back option. I believe the buy back option is for the first two years.

I guess it's advantageous for the player. He can tell Barca "no thanks" if the situation to return isn't right, I guess, rather than being stuck in the same situation again next year after another loan.

Makes more sense. I agree that's it's a huge benefit for the player, assuming it's not the parent club that can call the shots on whether he returns or not.

Also wasn't aware that Morata is on a similar kind of deal!

I've heard that's the situation with Morata, but it's strange, not sure how a forced return like that works, does he continue on the same contract he was on at Juve? Surely there's no way to force him into a new contract if he doesn't want it. Also, by all accounts Morata has no interest in returning to Real, but of course, that'll likely change.

Didn't Vela and Fabregas have somewhat similar clauses in their deals to move them on from Arsenal? Think Vela was 15m to return to Arsenal.

Unfortunately it's definitely going to be another couple of weeks before any big MUFC tranfers are announced I would imagine. I can see it being like last summer where you hoped we would get the players the tabloids promised us such as Bale, Fabregas, Ronaldo etc before everything suddenly went tits up and it was going to all of a sudden drag on and look like an X-Rated Moyes style summer signing spree with names like Osman/Charlie Adam level players being mentioned until suddenly out of the blue some big top class names were announced. I think it will be a mixed bag in that we will still sign some great players like Schneiderlin, Otamendi, Mandzucik but of course many fans will not be impressed because we didn't get the likes of Pogba or Gundogan but at least with Van Gaal you always seem to get a nice unexpected surprise in the end such as a Depay or a Di Maria etc...and thank God LVG will have a chance to bring balance to the force in a few weeks as the squad is till horribly unbalanced

I can't see why Madrid would not sign Morata back. He looks like he is pure gold. Madrid is like a Simon Cowell Boy Band - In that they are a bunch of average Joes who can refuse any fit bird they want to simply because they got lucky with a hit based on every 12 year old school girl deciding they had to have it

@football_oranje
Manchester City are happy to sell defender Karim Rekik to PSV. Club are waiting for the players decision.
John Heitinga is set to sign a one-year-deal with Ajax (De Telegraaf)

Today's the day, we'll hear some solid transfer news.
