My first post in the mains after introducing myself on the mains welcome thread..
I have dreamed of posting in this thread for years..
And I get promoted on the day Transfer window is officially open!!
Here is to a spectacular Transfer window for United!! Cheers..
Oh right, almost forgot.. About the topic of the thread.. Wish list for this summer for United:
Coleman or Clyne, Otamendi, Schneiderlin, Gundogan, Benzema(if possible) or Benteke..
Plus a couple of young players for the future like Patrick Roberts from Fulham..
Yep at the age of 17!Didn't know that, but it definitely makes a lot of sense.
Don't think you'll see him play enough to hate him. Unless Costa gets injured long term, God forbid.Do we hate Falcao if he joins the rent boys?

Why would we? It's not like we wanted to keep him and he rejected us for them.Do we hate Falcao if he joins the rent boys?
I have no idea what this has to do with my post. Not picking on you, but I hate this sort of comparison. Fulham never had a chance at any time to sign Marchisio, Khedira, Pogba or Pirlo and Vidal moved to Leverkusen at 20, so they would have had to have been in for him at 19 or younger.
It's like Real Madrid about to get De Gea for 18 million pounds. Atletico paid about 2/3rds of that for Oblak, but it's disingenuous to compare them. I guarantee they'd have shelled out the extra 6 to buy De Gea back if that was an option.
Mirror's David Anderson: Rodgers has a limited transfer budget this summer and is reluctant to meet Saints' £15m asking price for Clyne.
I kind of get your point and see where you're coming from but chucking in Fryers name with those other guys made me laugh.Honestly after the way Tevez, Ronaldo, Pogba, Fryers, Vidic, Welbeck and now DDG have left and acted in doing so, I'm struggling to give a feck anymore.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we sold Remy already. Scored nearly every time he was on the pitch for us.I think he'd play plenty with Costa's recurring hamstring problems and with Remy likely to leave.
MEN: Louis van Gaal calm over Manchester United's transfer window progress.
edit: it's a shite article, just read it.
Every transfer article from the MEN is shit. Compare it to the Liverpool Echo who have some excellent inside info and it's embarrassing.
I've always thought they were just much closer to City/pro-City than us, but then again I can't remember many particularly interesting City stories from them either. Maybe they are just useless.Yeah, MEN are embarrassing, especially for a local media.
My City supporting mates find them useless as well. Granted most media outlets are regarding transfers but you'd expect a local paper to have some contacts. Mathieson was alright under Fergie and Mike Keegan was good for City but they don't get anything nowadays.I've always thought they were just much closer to City/pro-City than us, but then again I can't remember many particularly interesting City stories from them either. Pepe Reina on verge of returning to Napoli, while Bayern is interested in Perin as his replacement http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/pepe-reina-on-verge-of-returning-to-napoli-while-bayern-is-interested-in-perin-as-his-replacement/…
Didn't Perin just renew his contract?

Ohh. So you were agreeing with me?You quoted that tweet about Juventus' midfield costing less than Ross McCormack and I didn't want to bother to go back to find the original.
So much wrong here. But what really confuses me is.... Vidic? The man pretty much said he'd have stayed if he'd known Moyes was getting the sack.
What's the deal with Jovetic?

Who else are they after? You're allowed 3 non-EU players registered in your 25 man squad. A lot of these South Americans have dual-citizenship with countries like Portugal (Brazil) and Italy (Argentina) so class as EU.Atleti are after so many South Americans. Do they have room for them?
Vidic? What exactly did he do wrong?
