At this point though, is it really worth the hassle? Arguably the sooner we get Maguire off the books (if only for his wages) it's a big bonus. McT going too probably just helps us out and gives us some extra funding for Amrabat.

Kim would have started ahead of Varane. He was better than Varane last season and also far better on the ball than Varane. Not that it matters since he's gone now but he 100% would have been 1st choice here.

why do you think he was?...it was just speculation that never went anywhere. no substance just high level speculation about a CB who was better than Harry. we enquired about him, as we do about loads of players but dont believe it went any further than that. my point was we didnt lose Kim because of harry. Just an opinion.
