You can't seriously believe that Ederson and Allison are on in and around 150 k a week only .

De Gea may find 150 k a week offer insulting but he isn't getting more than that atleast in Europe . I don't think he rated anything more than average keeper outside of United .

Alisson definitely is. That’s widely reported.

City didn’t release his new contract info but Ederson supposedly signed at £65k a week and then signed his 2nd deal at £100k. His newest extension wasn’t revealed to be a pay rise. So he could even still be on £100k a week outside of any additional sources of income (payments from Dubai that aren’t reported).

Courtois is supposedly on £150-200k a week as well. Neuer is around €300k.

It just shows you how naive the Utd board were. They basically paid a goalkeeper the same wages as star strikers. Nobody else got near it. Even Henderson was given £100k and at the time it was said to be in the top 4-5 salaries for goalkeepers in the league and he was 2nd choice!

Alisson on £150k says one thing to me. Sack your agent.

I’ll calm down when we start bringing in quality reinforcements or when the club is finally rid of those parasites.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but The parasites will be still be here when the season kicks off

So you don't think they are leaving then
I’ve no idea, but this process is going to take 3 months through relevant checks (PL) before it’s completed.
It’s not going to be a case of an announcement next week and the Glazers are gone the following week

Well they could be gone by then, however won't see the new ownership effect until January

Best we can hope for is that we’re still within a sniff come January and the new owners invest.

Or people would believe anything Liverpool total wage bill has been in and around highest based on official published Data by the Clubs not the unverified guff online .

So I find it hard to believe that Liverpool pay peanuts in wages to all their star players and yet somehow they manage to run up one of the highest wage bills in PL .

Exactly, people just check those 2 shit sites and take that as the actual wages.

Aye even three months is hopeful. This will drag a while.

There won't be any signings until mid-July at the earliest. If you accept this you will all be a lot happier in life.

Just some sign of Ratcliffe pulling out of sale process this week would be something,so in other words no one signed in time to go on pre season tour which is awful

Typical just Typica with this Club, we never do anything early, we keep delaying until it's late then we splash out huge out lay for fees on bang average players.

Yes the news about Qatar taking over would be better than any transfer we made ever. Cant wait. They'll hire the right football men in the right places and we'll be able to splash 300 million right away.

The right football men, as if you or someone who hasn’t been involved in football before know who they are. OR gather this?! They’re already on board and it’s the Glazers holding things up like they always do!

Imagine Qatar coming in and Fletcher getting another promotion. That would be some story!

I can't see us signing anyone quickly, would you sell a player to a team that might be owned by far richer owners in a few months?

Our fans love setting themselves up for disappointment. I never once boguht into the Kane or Osimhen hype that has engulfed the fanbase since January. One summary look at Levy and De Laurentis histories would have shown any reasonable person we had zero chance at either Kane or Osimhen.

Who are we signing then?

Rabiot and Chicharito back from the MLS?

Don’t get me wrong, I have zero expectations when it comes to United and I’m almost past caring until the Glazers go, but please tell us who the muppets should expect United to sign…

That would be some deal for us considering he just ruptured his ACL.

I'd take zero transfers in and zero out this window if it meant the Glazer's sold the day after deadline day and the new owners could spend the next 4-5 months preparing for January.
I'm not worried though. We will sign a couple of players and most likely sell 1-2 fringe players such as Maguire and McTominay.

Keeper has been an issue for years. The idea that this has suddenly caught them by surprise
It's quite clear we planned on keeping DeGea for now, but on a reduced contract.
Doesn't look like he fancies that and may take the Saudi bag of cash.
We are paying a fortune for our keepers atm and couldn't afford to go ahead and bring another one in until DeGea situation was sorted out..

Even if we had unlimited money, as if we could trust the club to get deals we need done.
Stop being such a pessimist. Last year we got 6 deals done, 4 transfer (Martinez, Casemiro, Antony and Malacia), a free transfer (Eriksen) and a loan (Dubravka).

A similar strategy this year could see us signing Onana, Min Jae, Rice, Kane, Rabiot (free) and Neymar (loan). I think everyone should stop moaning and put some trust in ETH to get the deals done. Even a more realistic Costa, Timber, Mount, Rabiot and Hojlund would be a good window.

The idea of keeping De Gea was always nonsense. Even on a reduced contract he would still be ridiculously overpaid and would still be unable to provide the skill set that we require. There was never anything to sort out. We should have planned all along for a new keeper to come in and allowed De Gea's contract to expire. Perhaps United are about to fluke their way to the correct decision.
