If they want him in Jan it will be more than 120 mill. They want to pay in instalments so will have to end up paying more. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up 150 mill. I'm a fan of the player but that fee is ridiculous.

I wouldn't even call it ridiculous. It's utterly insane! Like, the Saudis bought an entire Premier League club for €300M. Now one player will go for nearly half that amount? What even...

And he hasn't even done anything! Looks promising, okay, but not that promising. You'd think he is the next Xavi, or Casemiro, or something.

Yeah, that's exactly why I posted Whitwell's Tweet as well. It looks like we're open to having more bench options, so we might bring in a less fancy name as long as they offer us a decent amount of quality off the bench.

Personally I wouldn't be against that idea

Should be a permanent deal. Time to be ruthless and raise some money.
Agreed if we don’t see him having a future here then sell him while he’s young and holds value. Don’t loan him when we’re short of attacking options.

Definitely no coincidence that he talks about having to ‘be creative’ with regards to striker options - and they show a picture of him bringing on Maguire.
The owners have spoken, we have our new target man. Can’t wait.

Perfect match for Chelsea, he even looks like a chav
Rodrigo de Paul gave me that "I'm a PT" vibe, in a low cut V-neck top and skinny jeans, trying to chat birds up in revs. Thought he'd fit nicely there.

Show us a better alternative.

We can't just stick with what we have.

We also have to think further down the line..

If we keep willingly pulling our pants down then we can't complain when clubs try it on.

At some point we have to tell them no.

What would Elanga learn at Everton, plus Frank is only ever 90 minutes from getting the sack...and its a loan move.

Nothing for anyone involved to get excited about...player/clubs and fans.

Get him in the shop window, increase his value, get more first team experience. Chelsea do this all the time with alo of players and its a financially good business model.

Realistically he’s not going to make it at United so it’s for him to showcase that he can do it at PL level and attract suitors

Cheers, im wondering if newcastle did the recall as they are unexpectdly in the hunt for CL place. Now we are a rival, no point strengthening us.
