 For a second I thought we've signed Luis Garcia as an alternative to Antony. On second thought, we'd probably sign Gaitan if we really needed a winger that bad.

I can also confirm seeing as I’m not the 1st that I thought we signed a Garcia that the caf hasn’t discussed

Eriksen, Malacia and Martinez for £60 or so millions - thats hardly a waste of money. Actually I am quite happy, because I believe at least 2 more players will join before the end of august. In an ideal world, they would all be here already, but the most important thing is that we get them - if that means them losing 4-5 matches - so be it.

I typed out a whole massive response as to why I’m unhappy and why I thought you’re wrong. But then I realised we’ve “won the transfer window” for most of the last ten years and the seasons that have followed have been unmitigated shite more often than not. So feck it, I’ll pipe down and embrace what I think is a clusterfeck and hope to be proved wrong, it won’t be the first time.

The supposed back ups to Frenkie De Jong all sound utterly uninspiring and underwhelming. The only one I'm vaguely fascinated by is AC Milan's Bennacer and that link seemed loose to say the least.
Neves, Tielemans, Savić , none of these players do anything for me.

Hasn’t ten Hag already said it’s de Jong or nothing and he’ll make his own de Jong from whatever fluff, lint and bits of crap he can find down the back of the couch at Carrington.

In all seriousness, we should let Bailly go if even a half decent offer arrives. He's not durable enough to stay injury free and even if he was he wouldn't get the minutes anyway.

Make that cnut pay.
Is he a cnut? I have no real animosity to him, he was the most successful manager we've had post fergie. Sure it ended badly, but the main players he clashed with have hardly covered themselves in glory since.

 Wow!

And yeah, he is a cnut.
