Santi Aouna has been corroborated by Loïc Tanzi (Tier 1):

Serge Aurier has reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest as reported by Foot Mercato over a two-year contract. Everything should be finalised within 48 hours

Source (Tier 2):

Nottingham Forest try to loan Renan Lodi from Atletico Madrid
  • Atletico Madrid demand €40m for Renan Lodi, hence why Forest are asking for a loan.
  • Newcastle United did not advance in their early talks with Atletico Madrid, so Forest are currently ahead.

The new bid was first reported by L'Équipe (Tier 3):

NEWS L'ÉQUIPE. West Ham have made a second offer of €57m for Lucas Paqueta. OL have not yet responded, but the positions are getting closer and closer.

I think this is a good signing for Newcastle. Very ambitious and sign of intent. Pricey, but that's the market. A bit of a gradual build vs City's 'Galactico' buys in their early days of ascent. Also good for Isak to move up in prominence. Probably have more impact than Robinho et al.
Time for the PL tax. Tier 3:

Translation + more info:

A bit dick-ish of PSG. Free for the 2 Portuguese teams but Everton has to pay? I would guess there is a sell-on clause for that free transfer? Maybe it's a way to claw back the 30mil they paid Everton, so Everton probably has to give something in return. Still, the man is 32, so not much value in the market.

NFFC have spent a lot for basically a whole new team. Gotta wonder how well they will gel, but 4 pts from what should be 3 midtable clubs isn't bad so far.

What a comedown after his heights with Spurs & the national team. Don't think he'll get back to that level. Question whether Besiktas will activate the buy clause.

  • Malik Thiaw is the Chalobah alternative in case Chelsea can't get Fofana.
  • Salernitana's Batshuayi alternatives:
    • Krzysztof Piatek
    • Artem Dovbyk [1 in 2 goalscoring record with Dnipro]
  • Ampadu will choose between Empoli and Spezia as his next club.
