This report seems to confirm what Bild reported a few days back + offers some more info:
  • Contract offered:
    • 5 years
    • Annual salary: €30M
  • Man. City transfer payments:
    • €75M for the release clause
    • Additional €70M in commissions
  • Real Madrid are also in the race, but their offer doesn't satisfy Haaland at this time.

650K per week. Wow

  • Reminder: contract expires this summer
  • Both the player & Real Madrid are willing to extend the contract.
  • Modric reduced his wages last season by 10% (€12.5M to €11.25M) in support of the club during the pandemic.
  • Real Madrid want to reduce Modric's wages further, whilst Modric's camp wants the wages to remain the same if not return them to the pre-pandemic levels.

Consistent in all 4 of the forward positions, I'd love him as a striker for United and Antony for RW this summer.
In a perfect world, I agree. A front four of Sancho, Nkunku, Anthony and Bruno would be incredible. Though I’m not sure we could afford both Nkunku and Antony and still adequately address midfield. However, Nkunku feels like one of those players that should be signed and worry about positional fit later. Would rather have him than Antony, even though we do need a left footed RW more. Have a feeling if he goes to a rival we’ll be regretting it for years.

This is highly speculative re: Matic. Unless they think it's Garner or Rice. Those two are at least over 6 feet, but there's really no identifiable player like Matic who is that tall within that position.

It's gone from Kamara, Phillips, Rice, etc. It's a total under the radar type signing of a Sander Berge type player.

What's Fellaini doing these days?

Oh yeah our recruitment strategy has definitely improved under Murtough and Fletch  :wenger:
If Ronaldo decides he has had enough, we might have no strikers. Martial is sh**, Rashford is sh**, Cavani is going, Greenwood is a goner. That leaves Elanga who is young and has looked lost lately.

The full quote:
I’d like to play for another four to five years at a high level, and then experience something else. I have two years here in Paris, we’ll try to make that three! One more, and then we’ll see. But as long as the body holds up, I think I can keep my head well focused.

Of course Bayern tie up to certain stars with minimal to no fuss. Can you imagine if we went for either of those two?

No fuss now, but with Raiola as the agent then you just know its a ticking time bomb, I'd rather miss out on "future star players" if we got to miss out on dealing with that fat cnut.

Nkunku will cost at least 60m - that's not cheap

And in what position would he play ? can he plays as a RW ?

Considering the prices of some other players we are apparently interested in 60m for Nkunku would be a bargain. At least he is a genuine top player unlike the other players being suggested for similar prices.

Other key info: Bensebaini has told Dortmund that he wants to leave this summer.

Bensebaini was originally linked to Dortmund two days ago by Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato. Ruhr Nachrichten also reported on Dortmund's interest yesterday, stating that Dortmund are interested but don't see him as their first option.

Not sure what you call no fuss as we've been hearing about this for a few weeks. But I guess it's just easier to moan about one's club.
