  • PSG's terms are lower than what United most recently offered to Pogba.

  • United are planning for Pogba's expected departure.
    • United want to sign at least one midfielder this summer.
    • According to dressing room sources, Pogba is basically leaving the club after the season ends.

Lots stick mainly to facts. For example Ornstein, Whitwell, Mitten, Crafton generally like to stick to the facts. The latter may just say things like "the performance was flat" or "they looked lost" but not much beyond that. They certainly wouldn't go to extents that Sam Luckhurst goes to in providing tripe, useless narratives. Him and Ogden are standout dickheads with their opinion pieces.
spot on

Poor Newcastle.

Interesting signing if it happens as Milan religiously play a 4-2-3-1 and this will mean implications for the overall playing time of one of Botman, Tomori or the captain Romagnoli.

I know having 3 good CB's is ideal, but effectively this means on paper somebody isn't a starter...

Possible move back to the PL for Tomori?

Romagnoli is only in the team currently as Kjaer is injured I believe. Not really been playing too well.

There have been increasing murmurs in the Italian media about Romagnoli leaving AC Milan as a free agent. Lazio have most recently been linked to him though not strongly. Yesterday, against Bologna, the centre-back pairing was Kalulu & Tomori, so I think the club themselves have already moved on from Romagnoli.

The Polish striker is open to the possibility of a move to Barça and Bayern know that if they fail to renew him they will have to look for a way out.
The Lewandowski-Barça folder is open. There have been at least two meetings between Laporta and his agent Pini Zahavi in recent weeks in Barcelona: the two have an excellent relationship and that helps.

The Toni Juanmartí Tweet for reference (contains the same exact statements as the Moretto Tweets):

Gnabry would like to be elevated to the level of his competitors Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane in terms of salary and earn around 15 million Euros per year. The Stuttgart native currently receives less than ten million Euros.

Ah interesting - thanks. I did wonder about Tomori and whether he might fancy a move back to the PL to try and get Southgate's attention, but this makes a lot more sense.

I seem to remember Romagnoli being pretty highly rated a few years ago, seems like he hasn't progressed much then!

He had a bunch of injuries that held him back from really establishing himself in the first team, and as a result, we now see Tomori effectively ahead of him in the first team. I think AC Milan are tired of his injury proneness and don't mind moving on from him as a result.

Lazio have been strongly linked with him, according to their fans on reddit. They feel it'll happen as they're going to lose Luiz Felipe as a free agent in the summer and Romagnoli is a Lazio fan.

Yeah, this does seem stronger than I thought. Alfredo Pedulla's been reporting on this, and he's fairly well-informed on domestic Italian transfers.

One year left on his deal. He could be an ideal wide forward to replace the loss of Greenwood.
If he „only“ is asking for €15m per year then he will stay since Bayern will pay that. His best friend being in the same team helps as well.

Ogden is useless really. At least half his football opinions are terrible.

Romagnoli on pretty high wages, and oft injured... Tomori - Kalulu our starting CB pairing (and they've done wonderfully). The rotation will be Tomori - Botman - Kalulu - Kjaer (once recovered).

New ownership/mgmt is all about signing their guys to fit a system, and it's been working. Botman will be a massive upgrade over Romagnoli, who unfortunately hasn't developed as expected. Kalulu is a top reserve and also does well at RB. We legitimately stole him for 400k from Lyon.

Marcel van der Kraan, Dutch football journalist: "Ten Hag is in talks with #mufc now and has been in talks with them before too, we think those talks are coming down to the final stages of the whole contract now."

Marcel van der Kraan, Dutch football journalist: "In Holland, Ten Hag has been sounding out one or two members in Dutch football with a background at #mufc - whether they are prepared to join him there if he gets the job."

Door hit arse etc

Would love if RVP came back. One of my favourite United players.
Jaap Stam has management experience I believe, was he at Reading at some point?
He was and did okay there, but since that job, he's struggled wherever he's been, including with FC Cincinnati in MLS (even if the overall team has run poorly).
