Kane has always been a bit of a "dream signing" for me. The perfect striker. One I am sure Ferguson would have made long time ago. But by now, I'm not sure. Would really enjoy seeing someone like Osimhen in our side. I'm not really sure how he would translate from Serie A to the PL, but that type of intensity from a young, physical striker would be great to see.
I agree.

Why on earth would we be after Kane? Not only would it cost the earth, but he wants to leave Spurs to win the Premier League or Champions League. He's not going to come here is he.
City are moving onto Haaland, Liverpool likely wouldn't sanction a move and uncertainty (and Lukaku) at Chelsea.

He might not have much choice, depends how desperate he is to get out at Spurs. I get the feeling he'd rather not risk waiting another year or two as depending who we sign his options could be limited even further.

Kane is a target regardless of who is head coach.

As much as I love my team, are we currently not a bit of a step sideways from Kane's perspective? Especially if he's after trophies.

I would only take Kane if we include Martial, Rashford, Bailly, Maguire or AWB as part of the deal as these players won’t be easy to sell.

Kanye needs a Son, and Sancho isn’t that player. He’s a brilliant striker, but I feel like he wouldn’t be the best fit here. Rashford could do the Son sort of role, although he has lost his place to Sancho.

Kane isn’t as good for England without that sort of partner, and relies largely on stat padding penalties or goals against no marks.

Woodward may be gone, but his galactico mentality is still lingering at the club. Kane would be an idiotic signing, we'd be using up most of our budget on a player who's got maybe two more seasons of top level performances left max. But hey he sells shirts right, and that's all the cretins running this club care about.

I like watching kane. But he is a luxury singing considering dm, rb, rw, cb are all important priorities.

We need a younger striker to replace Greenwood. Kane is better than Ronaldo but isn’t much different to Ronaldo in that he can still bag but is getting on. To be honest Ronaldo would be more reliable in terms of fitness so we’d be insane to drop our transfer budget on Kane.

I’m far from Kane’s biggest fan, but being realistic at this moment in time, who the hell is sticking the ball in the back of the net for us next year?

With rumours that Antonio Conte could leave Tottenham at the end of the season, as unfounded as they might be, it appears Spurs have been looking around just in case.

They aren’t the only ones, either, as Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keeping an eye on managerial situations, especially in France.

We know this from RMC Sport, who explain the trio have been eyeing up Bruno Genesio, who is having a good season in France with Rennes.....

Spending the whole summer budget on Kane would be even worse than the Maguire deal.
But nothing suprise me anymore so lets see.

I could see us starting next season with McFred…again.. The purchase of Kane would leave some big big holes in midfield and defence unfortunaly.

Extended quotes:

I’m starting to see that many of you ask the same question. I’m the one who will decide my future, nobody else. If I feel like playing more games, if I don’t feel like it, I don’t. I’m the one in charge, full stop.

The SPORT1 report:

Bayern is engaged with Christopher Nkunku. Should the negotiations with Serge Gnabry, which are still faltering, fail, a signing of the Frenchman would be a possibility for the Bayern managers.

Not sure why many would turn Kane away? He’ll be brilliant and if he can bring us the league title within two years, why not? It will be abit like v.Persie coming here in his prime and winning us that number 20. And if there’s enough budget left say for that French lad at Monaco, let’s do it? United will also be freeing up a lot of wages this summer

Would like to see Patrick Schick myself - wouldn't cost a fortune and have turned into a goal machine both in Bundesliga and for the Czech national side

I actually want to shake his hand, he's calling it as it is.

We're no longer supporters of a football club, we support a brand.

Nah he's just bitter after being sacked just after the FA coop win.
United are no more commercial than Real, Barca or whoever else. We've gone wrong by investing huge amounts of money into bad managerial appointments and the players they wanted. I think the club has finally reviewed and learnt from that, but we shall see. Looking forward to the new Boss coming in whoever it is...

United is definately more commercial than said clubs. Hence why they have both been more successful than United in the last 10 years. All top clubs have a commercial arm, however for United of recent the commercial arm is running the footballing side where as at other clubs, footballing people run football operations and that takes precedence.

Hopefully this will change going forward

With Jesse Marsch there now, I wouldn't be surprised if Aaronson would want to work under him.

It already is, Woodward is out and we're getting footballing people in to key positions. I'm personally looking forward to seeing Ralf's influence over the next few years.
