@duffer why are all these journos clueless as to what you know? Are you friends with Marina? Can I get her number?

I have zero contacts at Real Madrid or Bayern so I can't comment on what they might do regarding Rudi.

Christensen and Silva have agreed terms and they are renewing. I know that for certain as I trust my insider.

No, sorry, I meant regarding what Chelsea have offered Rüdiger and what he has turned down.. anyway, never mind. We'll see.

Federico Pastorello on both Bernardeschi's and Arthur's Juventus prospects:
He [Bernardeschi] is happy and concentrated. For Arthur the situation is a bit different: he arrived with another manager and isn't finding space with Allegri. We'll see in January, we'll try to find the best solution while keeping in mind there is a World Cup coming.

Laporta has also asked Mino to lower his commission for the Haaland transfer.

It was regarding you saying that Rüdiger would have already renewed his contract if he was only looking for 200k and that you knew he was asking for „way more“ than that.
@Hansi Fick

Xavi has set two targets for the next transfer window: a winger and a striker. However, they don't just want to strengthen in those areas.

Looks like Barcelona will be open to any player who will possibly strengthen their whole team.

ADEYEMI WILL SIGN FOR DORTMUND

Attention to what Adeyemi's environment tells us: “Two days ago we said [a] definitive 'no' to Barça's proposal for Adeyemi. Barça is NO longer an option for Karim. The best thing for him is a German club.”

They have also said NO to the interest of Inter Milan. They believe that today would be a hasty step, which is not yet due. If there is no unexpected twist, Adeyemi will sign for Dortmund next summer.

@Hansi Fick

Do you really think Chelsea would let him go for nothing if all they had to do was match what they're already paying the likes of Chillwell or Saul?

He's looking for more than £200k a week to renew at Chelsea (and I don't blame him), that's why there's a game of chicken going on. Not many other teams want to pay that for a centre back either which is why I have a hunch he'll stay (I have zero knowledge here, just a feeling).

There seems to be smoke around this. Would never happen in January though.
It really depends on how Barcelona's financial situation is though. I mean they've had to let Messi go, Griezmann left on loan too, their big stars took delayed pay and now Aguerro is going to retire. The fact they are out of the CL and already out of the title race in La Liga might mean that they would be open to get the cash in now so they can start planning for the summer.

I'd rate it as unlikely but stranger things have happened.

  • Botman's very high up Newcastle's list.
  • Newcastle United are following him closely.
  • Botman prefers to join a top-level club, which Newcastle aren't at the moment.
  • Botman's Italian intermediary's talked to several Serie A sides already, including AC Milan.

You've got a real hard on for this guy haven't you?

You've been following this 'saga' where absolutely nothing ever happens, religiously for months.

Yet, apart from a few Chavs, nobody cares.
This situation has the potential to weaken Chelsea and give United a better chance at getting back to the top. Why would I or any other United fan not be interested in this?

Mercato: Kurzawa, Rafinha, Rico ... PSG finally wants to trim down [their squad] this winter.
  • PSG's main objective: downsize the squad
    • Difficult because either players don't want to leave or other clubs unable to pay what the players want/currently earn
  • Sergio Rico
    • Rarely in PSG's matchday squads
    • Player & family happy in Paris
    • Will only leave for an ambitious team in Spain
      • One lead available but not for the #1 spot
  • Layvin Kurzawa
    • PSG are negotiating with other clubs, including one in England
    • None of the interested clubs want to pay Kurzawa's PSG salary.
    • PSG may have to partially make up for Kurzawa's loss themselves in order to let him leave.
  • Abdou Diallo
    • Wants regular first-team footbal
    • Won't leave in January unless a good offer arrives
    • Potential to leave next summer
  • Thilo Kehrer's happy in Paris, but Collin Dagba isn't ruling out a departure in January.
    • Discussions to take place between PSG & Pini Zahavi, Dagba's new agent, in the coming days
  • Rafinha
    • Happy in Paris despite the lack of playing time
    • Will only leave for a better playing environment or interesting offer
    • Contract expires in 2023

Because it's so fecking boring and nothing ever happens.

They'll just spend £100M on another defender anyway.
That's football/sports transfers for you. For the most part, there's no substantial action. It's all about the little movements and what they can potentially lead to.

Aubameyang earns £250k/week from Arsenal. I don't think there are too many teams that'd be willing to pay him that much at this time.
