It's clear Camavinga want to run down his contract instead of agreeing to any contract renewal offer. Deep down, Rennes President is more desperate for a sale here.

So he doesnt want to join us then

Donyell Malen is Borussia Dortmund's favourite as a Sancho successor. The negotiations with PSV turn out to be difficult because they want and old friend [i.e. Raiola] wants to earn a lot of money.

We know that the swap deal is basically dead at this point. New info: some Premier League clubs are pushing to sign Saúl.

EDIT: Translation in this Tweet

Remember Jens Cajuste a.k.a. the Camavinga replacement?

The Jens Cajuste case is at a standstill for the moment with Stade Rennais. The French club, which has as a priority the recruitment of an #6 currently, must sell before being able to increase its offer. Meanwhile, Newcastle and Brentford also want to move forward [with buying the player].

Yeah, this is getting more complicated for Rennes.

EDIT: English version of the above Tweet

Basically, don't take any Saúl to United news from weak sources seriously. Wait for them to come from more reliable journalists/outlets.

Discussions are still ongoing, everything is open, either for a departure during this transfer window – if an offer satisfies everyone – or to extend [Camavinga’s deal],” Holveck said. “He won’t leave for cheap, we’ve had a lot of discussions but nothing is complete one way or another.”

If Real get Mbappe and Camavinga free next year, that would be next level business.

More info on the McNeil-Everton links + some other stuff:

  • Everton see Aston Villa being ahead of them for McNeil.
  • Everton value McNeil at 25 million Pounds, but Burnley want up to 50 million Pounds
  • Gray will get 2+1 year contract when joining Everton.

I wonder why Ornstein would name-drop both PSG and Atletico Madrid here. I haven't seen anything from the French and Spanish outlets about signing Jordan Henderson.

James Ducker also reported the same thing.

Hold up, Livramento could leave Chelsea?!

EDIT: Additional info (thanks to people on Reddit)
  • Myles Peart-Harris close to joining Brentford
  • Lewis Bate no interested in a contract renewal
    • Clubs interested: West Ham, Leeds, Liverpool, Leicester, Brighton
    • West Ham & Leeds are the most keen
  • Brighton are pushing for Livramento

Maybe his agent asked Ornstein for a favor by leaking some contact between them with PSG and Atletico.

That's absolutely not what I took from that tweet, I took it as Shagger was told to feck off and stop texting him

That could have been specific to Shrager, yeah, but even then, the only way we're getting any info about Saúl is from Spanish sources, all of whom have been reporting from Barcelona's perspective.

Not quite a correct rendering of the tweet - It actually says "the negotiations with PSV prove to be difficult, not least because an old acquaintance wants his hefty share" (refering to Raiola's involvement)

Why the surprise? Is he highly rated?

Thanks for the heads up. I've updated the post accordingly.

Atalanta and former Manchester United goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini could be getting closer to joining Tottenham.

Yeah, he's a very talented right wing back. I was wondering if he'd get more chances in Chelsea's first team given that Azpilicueta's aging.

Tuchel had him training with the first team last year. As much as Tuchel loves wing backs, there is something that is not impressing him. Tuchel also loves to develop young talent. Not sure what is going on with this situation?

Surprised then a bigger club than Brighton is not being linked with him

He might have impressed him but is still not willing to offer him guaranteed first-team minutes in the league, which is what I assume Livramento is after. Seeing Hakimi heavily linked in the exact same position can't have been positive mentally either.

Chelsea is producing some fantastic players but many of them don't see a direct path to the first team it seems and are forcing Chelsea's hand to sell them with their contracts winding down. That's not to suggest Chelsea's doing anything particularly wrong, even when they lose these talents they're usually making quite a lot of money on them, but I don't blame the players for betting on themselves and going for a clearer path instead of endless loans.

I've seen quite a lot of Chelsea fans on social media blaming these players leaving for having weak mentalities and not wanting to fight for their place. Feel like that's very harsh although I understand the frustration of losing them.

So Barca wanted Atletico to give them Saúl, money AND pay all his 800k a week wages to get them out of the mess they’ve put themselves in. Good luck with that  The whole world knows they have to get him off the wage bill - they have zero power in this situation.

The sheer lack of logic/utter stupidity from Barca is mind blowing and hilarious all at once.

Saul for VDB swap? Saul seems more suited to our needs than VDB while I can see Simeone liking a hard working functional no10.

Weird to think Madrid may well have the chance to sign Mbappe and Pogba for free this time next year

Not sure if it was on this forum or a pundit on tv, but sure I remember someone absolutely raving about Lewis Bate recently?
