The Ander Herrera option would gain momentum in recent days for the Athletic Club. The Basque team wants to strengthen in the middle, and the player is precisely one of the most likely to leave PSG this summer.

Top player a few years ago is he any good anymore?
For that price he's certainly better than what we have currently. Koulibaly and Varane would improve us tremendously in defence. It would also mean Tuanzebe is likely going out on loan.

I think it’s more likely to Koulibaly or Varane, maybe it’s just a transfer strategy to say to Madrid we’re looking elsewhere and won’t be overpaying on Varane.

Anyone buying the Koulibaly links needs to give their head a wobble.

His stock has really dropped over the last few years. Its quite weird how a few people still rate him, haven't heard him have a good season for about 3 now.

He has realised that he is no longer in demand and needs that one last big contract.

Sporting's been pushing Mendes to City stories for two months now. Do they have money problems? To be fair, I think City like him but Mendy would have to go first and transfer fee drop to £25-30m plus some add-ons.

Everton are collecting a load of shit this Summer. Clearly broke.

Imagine going from Ancelloti and progression to your local rivals cast off and Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray!!!

Enough to make you want to throw in your towel and say that's it for me.

Andros Townsend is undergoing a medical at Everton ahead of his free transfer move. #efc #CPFC

What AnDROSS transfer that is...

but still much better value than Iwobi for 40 :wenger:

After replacing Ancelotti with Benitez, you would expect the board to try to win over fans but i guess that clubs like Everton and Spurs will always make one step forward to make 2 steps back

Just wait until some other clubs come calling for Richarlison.

Maybe it's the heat but I'm getting fed up of the Varane gossip. I know it hasn't gone on that long at all compared to some of our past sagas but bored of it, just like the Sancho deal...which has still not been announced as complete.

Mental quote. Guy hasn’t a scoobie

He knows more than most and you have got to understand that English isn’t his first language so some may get lost in translation, that tweet says to me

“Man Utd are preparing a bid for Real Madrid’s Varane, within a matter of days we will know what’s going to happen [regarding the transfer of the player]”

I have never heard of this guy. Any good?
He's one of the better youngsters in Belgium at the moment, but the league and the nation are in a bit of a rough patch after producing so many good talents. Nothing too special, imo. Probably Guendouzi/Ceballos replacement - i.e. a squaddie.

Exit Conte, enter Carlo to buy our cast offs. Wonder what he thinks of Phil Jones and Andreas Pereira.

The idea of Ancelotti tuning in to watch our dead rubber and the few Milan matches Dalot got to start and being in awe is hilarious to me.

Either made up stuff, or Napoli trying to drum up some interest for him, either way, Manchester's name is the best tool to create some fake hype.
Or Manchester United put in a low bid for KK which they knew would be rejected, to make Madrid think twice about playing hard ball with us in case we get KK in for this season and Varane free next season.
