I had a feeling that moving on one of Henderson or de Gea would be tough.
They have plenty of cover with Fabinho and Pointy McPointerson.Yeah, I think he’s one of those players whose status + mentality is more important than his actual quality (though he does cover that right pocket well with Trent). Liverpool can’t afford to lose him so quickly after Wijnaldum. They’ll have no midfielders left!

Play three in midfield so Fabinho, Thiago and Ox? Perhaps Curtis Jones? They have plenty of cover with Fabinho and Pointy McPointerson.

At the moment I think it’s Fabinho; Thiago; Jones. Ox and Keita are just terrible depth options for fitness and lack of proven quality anywayThey have plenty of cover with Fabinho and Pointy McPointerson.
50% of those are fitness concerns over a 50 game season. At the moment I think it’s Fabinho; Thiago; Jones. Ox and Keita are just terrible depth options for fitness and lack of proven quality anyway

Heston is doing what Ole will have asked from him there. Not sitting on the bench and picking up his retirement funds but putting pressure on De Gea and Henderson for the #2 spot.
I’m really pleased that both De Gea and Henderson are staying, it was a thing a few years ago where teams had League keepers and Cup keepers and it seemed pretty successful and a good way of keeping them both match sharp and on their toes.
What you don’t want is one of your keepers taking for granted that they are the “Cup/League Keeper” so having someone like Heaton who is prepared to put pressure on them can only be a good thing.

It's insane. If that transfer happens then Pep has spent over £200M on fullbacks in the last five years.Another 50m defender coming right up!
West Ham and fecking Wolves too! Jesus wept, I can imagine the bloke signing, “this for me, a dream come true….there’s just something magical about molineux under the lights…..when we hoof it long to the striker for 90 mins…..the beauty of Wolverhampton “Seduced by football clubs. I've heard it all now.
