Townsend is a dreadful signing but there's still something about Gray, there's a player there if someone can get it out of him. For that price why not.

Why did Crystal Palace let him go on a free though.. he's been a regular for them

I'm not sure which is more tedious. A load of tweets about lower league English clubs that no one's interested in. Or, a load of tweets about deals between smaller European clubs that no one's interested in.
The latter, easily.

Bring back Fridge.

Guess Everton can't spend and need to improve their squad depth but those are terrible signings.

So, what's going on at the likes of Spurs, Liverpool and City? Seems to be absolutely nothing being reported on these fronts.
Fernandinho signed extension, no club is interested in Mendy so this is only about waiting for Kane/Grealish's final decision. Guess in 2 weeks, 17 days we'll know what will happen there but looks like only 1-2 first-team players could join City this summer.

Dont believe it , unless Pogba is on his way out.

Everytime we are linked with a CM this is the excuse people use to push Pogba out the club.

If we’re going 4-3-3 we need a new CM to fill the role alongside Pogba/Bruno

Pogba is going nowhere

Don't believe for a second we will sign Saul, but it would be a cracking signing.

Varane and Sancho would both we terrific signings but we still need help at CM and striker.

A more credible argument before his contract was running out imo

Any player needs a new contract---- Cue, Manchester United lead the race to sign the player......sighh.
Hes not signing a new contract, he is leaving Atletico. Not saying to us but hes definately leaving if you followed anything that has been happening with him that would be obvious.

Saul is nowhere near good enough defensivly for such a setup

Saul is contracted until 2026 if I'm not mistaken. I don't think this used as leverage to get some new deal with his existing club.

He signed a 9 year contract in the summer of 2017. So his current deal doesn't expire until 2026.

Yes and he is currently being forced out of the club after falling out with Simeone

As much as this seems an exciting development, I'd wait for a more reliable journalist/outlet to offer their own insight on this. Francesc Aguilar tends to be a bit speculative even if he's not one of the bad journalists.

I’m going to allow myself to dream. Sancho, Varane and Saul would be an FM summer. For all the doubts I have about Ole’s ability to get us over the line and actually win something, it would be impossible not to get excited after a summer like that.

Is that the slogan of Uniteds senior-team ?
About time we were linked to someone in order to hasten their already planned transfer. It's been at least a week.

These rumours were around a few months back iirc. Wasn’t the assessment that he’d had a poor/indifferent season with AM? Hence the links?

People don't care, they just want a shiny new toy, and if that toy has a spanish name and place for a different club, they will rate it very high.

  • Roma's offer: 10 million Euros + 2.5 million Euros in bonuses
    • Bonuses based on Vina's appearances + team milestones
  • Palmeiras want a total package of 13-15 million Euros

Renato Sanches has been offered to Barcelona, but they aren't interested in him yet.

Proper boring Benitez signings those, albeit possibly not as bad as paying £40m for Iwobi

He doesn't need to sign a contract. He has signed something like 9 year contract few years back. He is leaving AM

It’s more the fact it’s a CM signing. Personally I’d want Rice but we’ll see.

If and that’s a big IF because I think Pogba is staying. Pogba goes we need 2 CM’s as we’d need a new CM in midfield, moving to 433 wouldn’t work with McFred because that’s what’s being used in the double pivot, if you wanna do that, why change formation?
