You know what I mean. Grealish just doesn't play there at all.

Sancho seems to done well from the right this season hasn't he? I don't watch Bundesliga.

Fair enough, maybe I'm in a minority here but I see a better-balanced squad with the below than Sancho. I think there's games Rashford is suited for but certainly some he isn't. :

LW:
Grealish
Rashford

CAM:
Fernandes
(Grealish)

RW:
Greenwood
Amad

CF:
Cavani
(Greenwood)
(Rashford)

Grealish would improve our bottom level more than any player on the market.

Yeah, but still better to use the money on position we actually need upgrade in. At least if Pogba stays.

So back to selling Pogba then? I still think our right side is too callow there. Maybe in two or three years we could rely on Greenwood/Amad.

Wouldn't it be the same balance with Sancho, he is also competent in RW & LW

Rashford
(Sancho)
(Pogba)

Fernandes

Sancho

Bayern won't care about what Pini does; they'll try to keep him this summer.

That's a fair move given that he's still a very, very useful winger for them.
Is there a Twitter account that covers all interesting transfer news across Europe?
Serious answer: either Fabrizio Romano or Sport Witness. Sport Witness tend to mostly cover continental media outlets and rarely, if ever, cover the English media outlets. Unfortunately, I can't think of a one-size-fits-all approach here.

Feel free to keep track of the Transfer Tweets feed/thread on the Caf. You should get your fair share of European news from here.

The report's from Calciomercato, but the quote (covered in the Tweet) may have come from another source despite it being in that article.

Source: Ruhr Nachrichten

The article doesn't specifically mention United. They, however, focus on Sancho's potential outgoing transfer. They state that he's likelier to leave after Euro 2020 due to uncertainties (mainly financial) in football, which could contribute to the overall lack of time to complete the transfer (to United or any other club). The dominoes will start to fall, however, when there's a club that'll offer a total package close to 100 million Euros.

They pay for Thiago, we get Wijnaldum on a free. I can live with that. Class player.

Apparently, Coman also declined a recent contract offer.

EDIT: As mentioned by Eckner, Zahavi's representing Coman in talks with English clubs. The player's father, however, is actively negotiating with Bayern Munich.

I was talking about Diaz and Milan with someone else (outside of the Caf) yesterday, and we both expected Milan to bring Diaz back in on another loan with a purchase option. That's basically what Milan will go for according to this article.

  • City and Real Madrid are also monitoring Pau Torres.
  • A Pau Torres transfer is more likely after Euro 2020.
  • Matt Judge has started talks with Varane's camp.
  • Liverpool are also interested in Varane.
  • United will go "all out" to sign a new centre back this summer.

Expect more stories to pop up about Buendia given that the COVID-19 situation held him back last summer.

Rodrigo Palacio is now a free agent.

Somehow, I see him moving to MLS and, more specifically, CF Montréal.

A few days back, Allan Saint-Maximin stated that he's thinking about his future given that Newcastle keep fighting for survival when they can do better.

I can't believe he's still playing. We were talking him up for a transfer to United back in the early 2000s.
Not only does he still play but also still looks decent at such a high level. Granted, he doesn't start or even play regularly, but he's still a threat when he comes off the bench.

Valencia was a different animal back in the days with Villa, Silva, Joaquin and Mata. Great player.
Aimar as well. Whatever happened to him? Vaguely remember him popping up at Benfica but never really seemed to fulfill his potential.

A strange one. Grealish of course is older so hittin ghis peak where as SAncho is still young. Personally though, as a player and with what we already have, Grealish brings as something so much different and unique and is actually a better all round player at the moment for me. Of course the argument against is he is mainly playing on the left and Sancho can play right....btu Sancho has also mainly played left when I have seen him. Grealish I hav eseen play on the right occasionally and there is no reason why he cant with the style of football he brings.

Grealish would improve our bottom level more than any player on the market.

Yes, that was my biggest argument apart from his talent for signing him last summer. Competition for both Rashford and Fernandes and can also if needed play on the right, can also play in a flat three man midfield if we change the formation during a game. Bar striker he covers most of the attackign positions, I still feel the same as last season in that regard.....he isnt cover for these positions, dare I say it, I think he actually improves every one of them consistency wise throughout a game especially and that even include Fernandes. The main argument seemed to be he was over priced and why pay that fee for someone who wouldnt get into our side. Not sure many would use either of those arguments now.

Instead it appears we signed VDB, obviously seen little of him so far and he hasnt done very well when we have. With what we have and need I am not sure Grealish is the man to sign now but the arument to sign VDB as more suitable and not Grealish when he wouldnt play, bar the price....wrong
