Bizarre from them though it's possible they could only afford one of Aourar or Partey and Aourar was their first choice. That being said the prices quoted for Aourar weren't much higher than the fee for Partey and Partey's fee will all be guarantteed.

Partey is one of those players RedCafe has always loved. He's a good player but nothing staggering.
Really don't understand why we're not in for Partey at that price. It's extremely obvious that we lack an alternative to Matic, never mind a long-term replacement. Haven't seen much of him but very reasonable price considering his reputation.

Partey a cracking signing for Arsenal, I think they are quite lucky that the Champions League clubs seem stacked in the CM area as in another market most teams would be in for him at that price.
In 264 appearances as a professional keeper, the guy has kept 120 clean sheets and only conceded 234 goals. That's 0.89 goals a game which is better than De Gea, Allison or Schmeichel who would be considered 3 of the best keepers in the league.
