Yeah don’t get that. I find signings like this really exciting personally
Same here and we're hearing promising things about him in Italy.

I guess the frustration and everything comes from us not getting him until January which isn't really our fault. Visa problems.

If this is part of an exciting strategy, why has such an easy deal been left until now? Would we be after this Traore if we were getting Sancho? This is a PR deal to save face and we are now hoping that a promising player can come good at some stage in the future when we are crying out for finished product players.

Are you the offical spokesperson for the ST holders then?

Went for 25 years, home mostly but quite a few aways too over the years. Been all over Europe and to plenty of cup finals. Don't need to prove my loyalty to anyone my friend.

I won't ever step foot in the place again under their regime. If you want to then good for you. You're only helping keep them at the club.

No, hence why I said ‘I wouldn’t.............’

I’m just bored of hearing people who have got rid of their STs harp on about it and blaming ST holders for supporting the ‘regime’. It’s pathetic.

This isn’t a conversation for this thread so I’ve said my piece. Feel free to DM about if you want

Humiliated both on and off the pitch in last 24 hours and boy that is hard to take right now

We've been in for him for a while. Luckhurst and Mitten have reported on our interest for ages.

It is our fault when you only try and get the Visa on Friday, 4 days before the window ends. I'm excited that he might turn out brilliant but we need players here and now. It's another feck up by the club.

30m euros. What a farce.

Not knocking Traore, but why we're forking out this money for a kid with 24mins of senior football. We need a quality RW option now. You make these type of signings when everything is peachy.

So we get this kid who has played 25 minutes in Serie A. Paying €30m plus add ons, over a quarter of what would take to get our new number 7 Jadon Sancho, who is already one of the best young players in the world...and he doesn't even come until January.

Comedy gold.

Funny how people think they are more uppity because they go watch games. Every one can have an opinion hence why the club is so big.

You wont be saying that when he comes on as a sub and keeps the shirt. He is a huge prospect and looking at his game I can see why. 30m euros in 5 years time could be a bargain.

Last day of the transfer window!

If we have been interested in ages then why are we just pulling the trigger?
It's either us leaving it until the last minute because we were focused on getting first team players first or this deal has been a bit complicated and we had to wait to see if Atalanta were going to loan him out or not. His move to Parma was just about done before collapsing for unknown reasons.

What do we do until then, though? We don't have five years to wait for him to bloom.

We always seem to make these signing that the fans have no clue about so they can’t complain.
I really hope he is a good signing and can play straight away but could we not have gotten somebody in now that’s good enough for right wing.
I mean €30m is a lot right could it have gone towards a good proven right winger.

Let’s just hope and pray he is the real deal.

Weren't we less than 30m away from getting Sancho?
I like the prospect of Traore, but Sancho is surely a safer bet and guaranteed to contribute right away? I don't get it...

I'm not talking about 5 years time, I am saying he will be worth a lot if he turns out as good as he looks. He will be with us for 5 years then will end up in Madrid.

30 million euros plus add ons

We really must be rating him very highly. After this deal, we may as well get someone on loan and first see how good this guy is. Before buying Sancho too.

He was going on loan to Parma 5 mins ago ffs. Why didn't we buy him last week or a month ago? It's because he wouldn't be coming if we signed the player Ole wanted. Sancho.

That price also after 25 minutes of Serie A football, costs more than Haaland etc.
Nah personally I'm not buying the excitement with this one, not the kids fault of course.

Pellistri to work with coaches at Carrington to find first-team credentials.

Eh ?

Fair play to you. Really hate it when fans vilify others just because they see themselves as a better supporter. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on how the club is run to what happens on the pitch.
