Negotiations are continuing to the bitter end between Juventus and Manchester United to close the exchange between Lukaku and Dybala . Meeting in London between the agents of the two players (Pastorello for the Belgian, Antun for the Argentine) and the representatives of the two clubs: for Juventus present Paratici. The bianconeri and Manchester United have a broad understanding. In the event of a definitive agreement between Dybala and Red devils, the operation could close in a short time. At the moment the Argentine is expected in Turin tomorrow to start training after the America's Cup.

DYBALA’S WAGE EXPLAINED

https://www.capology.com/club/juventus/salaries

He is currently earning £213,663 per week Gross, which equates to £115,378 after Tax.

If he is looking a 30% increase, it means his demands are £277,761.90 per week Gross (£14.4m per year). All wages are detailed in England as Gross.

To give some perspective, Pogba earns £290,000 per week (£15.08m per year) and Lukaku earns £200,000 per week (£10.4m per year).

Therefore, Dybala is requesting £4m more per year than we are currently paying Lukaku.

i could live with that if it had alot of performance based bonus's in it

Direct contacts between Juve and Manchester United for the transfer of Lukaku to Juventus. The presence of Fabio Paratici , already reported by Sportitalia in the early afternoon , confirms that the will is to close. In the next few hours Paulo Dybala , who did not expect to end up on the market so suddenly, will return from vacation: his destination could be Turin or directly London. We talked about the strong interest of Manchester United on Thursday, adding a possible trade off with Lukaku on Friday at 10.50 pm. Dybala sent his representative to London, the request for engagement is 30 percent higher (in pounds) compared to the 7.5 million euros he currently earns at Juve. The next few hours are important, Paratici wants the quadrature. And what will they say to Dybala when he lands in Turin to get back at Sarri's disposal?

Currently being paid equivalent of 5.9 million pounds a year, and so it sounds like he's asking to be paid 7.6 million pound a year. Considering Pogba's on 15 million a year, something is odd here.

He's reportedly asking for £10m a year net, which is £360k per week gross.

Edit: reports in Italy now suggesting that he's asking for £277k per week gross. Either way, he'd be among our top four earners (along with Sanchez, Pogba and De Gea).

That site says Lukaku is on 180k/week, not 200k.

So that's nearly 100k/week more.

Also, paying Dybala ~300k/week is a lot.. He isn't that good

I’ve seen places say he is £180k per week and others say he is on £200k per week.

So Dybala is either looking £4m per year more than Lukaku, or £5m per year more than Lukaku. The difference is £1m. It’s a lot of money of course, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not really for a club the size of United.

The fact is, Lukaku is our of favour and isn’t even playing or training with the team, so the other option would be to keep paying him £180k - £200k per week to sit on the bench and keep a player that doesn’t fit Ole’s plans. If so, Lukaku will continue to decrease in value and he will be worth maybe £15-20m less next season as he will be even more out of favour.

I’d rather swap him now for a player who Ole wants, even if it means paying more £4-£5m per year more in wages.

On the same page, he talks also about Lazio:

Capitolo Lazio: Claudio Lotito, presidente biancoceleste, è tornato a parlare diMilinkovic-Savic: “Non spero nulla.

Lazio Chapter: Claudio Lotito, president of Lazio, is back talking about Milinkovic-Savic: "I don't expect anything. I repeat that we don't need to sell to balance the books." The Serbian remains a target for Manchester United, but to date there has been no direct discussion between the two clubs. Kezman (the player's agent) continues his contacts with the Red Devils but the deal is not hot at all. As with Pogba, in fact, the situation is currently at a standstill. The Serbian midfielder doesn't even have an agreement with United: it will not be a last minute operation (the English market closes on 8 August). An acceleration will be needed this week, but the feeling is for the English club to conduct double operation (Pogba out, Milinkovic-Savic in) remains very difficult.

Young next:cool:

Young for Ronaldo perhaps? Maybe we could be cheeky and also ask them to send over a couple of mill as a sweetener?

Wouldn't hurt to ask. We live in a crazy new world where you can swap bench players for potential stars

Would be really happy if they took Darmian as well as I believe he is wasting his career here:D

I genuinely feel bad for him. His career is virtually dead here but he would probably start every week for numerous big Italian sides

He's asking for 10million EUROS NET PER ANNUM, we're currently offering 8 million. Lukaku is asking and receiving 9 million from Juve.

The major complication with that one is their owner and our owner don't like each other at all, they used to be in business but had a massive falling out a few years ago. So they'd have to pay even more :) but to be honest if the figures are met he will go - we don't stand in players ways if our values are met. At the moment I am calm about it though :)

I'm aware of their history, i've had interactions with Bloom in the past. As you say both are incredibly sharp guys so if a deal makes sense it makes sense. Have there been any links to possible replacements for Maupay?

It is all secondary to whether or not he fits a high press style or if we are going to have a relatively slow and lazy number 10 killing our press, or have to shunt him out wide etc. All a lot more important than a few m in fee or wages

That’s true too. Nobody knows how he would settle in England or the PL. Talent wise though, he would probably be our best player and is a million times better than his direct ‘competition’ (Mata and Lingard).

This just gets better.

It’s unbelievable shite (in a good way). Lukaku off, Darmian off, a player we need to come. Nearly perfect, we need to sign paperwork tomorrow and initiate medicals ASAP

This deal is like when you add a manager on football manager, bin off all the players you don't want for huge money and nab one of theirs for free.

I totally agree with all that post. I thought he would be leaving on a free next year, although I thought he would have left last year. 14 appearances in league the for anybody in two years whilst not having having any injuries, is a complete waste and he should go as soon as possible to get regular football the sake of his career.
