Allowing Leicester to sign a replacement before announcing it, in which they're after Dunk from Brighton and Brighton have just signed their replacement. I'd say Thursday or Friday Maguire will get announced.
We better not be selling Pogba. But if we're buying Fernandes, i don't see him and Pogba fitting in the same team. Fernandes could work as a the right of a three in midfield with Pogba on the left. But that would leave a heck of a lot for the CDM to do. Sort of exciting. But I'm worried we're selling our best player.
Why would you replace Herrera with an attacking midfielder. McTominay’s the replacement for Herrera.
How do we see Woodward if we come out of this transfer window with AWB, James, Maguire, Fernandes and Dybala without selling Pogba?
Real can't get rid of James or Bale, they've just spend shedloads on Hazard and Jovic. I don't fear Pogba going this summer.

We will wait to see if Ed can do a fax gate and keep Pogba, and sign all the others. If so, Ed would have done a pretty good job for me.
2 deep and 1 attacking, we’ve done it all pre-season it’s pretty obvious how we’re setting up.
Ambitious and brave enough to fight for something more than just lousy top 4.
It would certainly be a statement of intent, whereas our current window is a statement of a very different intent
Can Pogba not play deep?
There are multiple reports from Spanish "twitter accounts" saying they have Pogba in the next 12 days or what not. If drives me nut. I just hope we crush their hope by signing a new contract at this point.
I think the latest setup shows Pogba playing a bit deeper but creating space for the third player when he is not the one creating.

Yeah, he can, the initial question was “would Fernandes, Pogba and Dybala be able to fit into the same midfield?” With Solskjaer’s current set up they wouldn’t.

Dybala isn’t a striker though and hasn’t played there in years, his best form has always come at number 10.
Which he'd drop in to often as Fernandes likes go fun beyond the striker
And I said he was, but you said he was a Herrera replacement which he clearly isn’t as they aren’t even remotely similar players.
Or just play him as a number 10, consistently, where he’s best. Why sign a player then immediately go play him out of position?
Dunno why it's either Fernandes or Pogba? All the other top clubs have multiple top players for each position and we don't exactly have a wealth of talent in our squad at the moment.

Ignoring Herrera's departure and the gaping hole that is our RW to sign another left winger and another couple of 10's feels like something we'd do to be honest.
Because they can't really play in the same midfield three against anyone half-decent.
If Fernandes comes, Pogba will be gone later in the summer.
If we get Maguire, Bruno and Dybala in the next week then i’ll be so excited that it won’t only be Maguire that’s a shitting himself.
That's a bit unfair to be honest, I mean even Sam Lee, who is City's mouthpiece was talking about that deal for weeks. Maybe it was Bruno's agent feeding the journos the story or maybe City decided not to pursue him. Di Marzio has gotten more right than any other Journo in England, I mean just look at his updates regarding Pepe. I'm not saying he's right here but that Bruno to City transfer shouldn't be used as a yard stick
If United and Leicester had agreed a deal to make Maguire the most expensive defender of all time, news of that would spread like wildfire. And yet, here we are a day later, nobody is reporting it and instead we're reading that we're still some way apart on the fee.
Amoyal has no idea what's happening with Maguire (and I doubt a US-based ESPN hack would be first to hear about any deal involving him either).
None of this means that we won't sign Maguire, of course - just that we didn't do it yesterday without anyone apart from Amoyal and a Sky Italia reporter finding out about it.
