What will all these meetings resolve? The issue is Inter not wanting or not being able to pay the price we have set for Lukaku. Do they think his agent can pressure us?
There are more tweets about us selling players than those of tweets about players we are being linked with, sad times. I like the way city just identify a player they need and just go out and complete the deal, then again we have Ed in charge so that speaks for its self.

This! I'm sick of reading people moan that we didn't buy or aren't in for these players that are picking clubs that are clearly better than us at the moment. We couldn't get everybody we wanted when we were in our prime under Fergie so we sure as hell aren't going to be able to now. Players like Rodri get to pick pretty much any club they want and right now that caliber of player will pretty much always have one club they favour above us.
When we build a decent side and get back to being competitive in the big competitions then the lure and history of the club will start to play a big part again and we can challenge for anybodies signature.

I hope so, if we buy him of course. I’m not too impressed with the thought of signing him as of now when we have just lost Herrera and Pogba openly wants out but I will be happy to be proved otherwise. Massively worried though if he is our only addition and we keep hold of an unhappy Pogba. Our midfield, well most of the squad are pretty underwhelming in my opinion so I’m praying for some positive additions over the next 5 weeks before our window shuts. I’m sure Real will still go all out for Pogba until September 2nd when we then have no chance to replace him.
Rodri by all accounts is a very good player, City recruitment is for the most part very impressive regardless of how dodgy they are. I’d say just based on the window so far we are just as far if not further behind them now.

I mean there is only one buyer interested and they are trying to do the circus not because they are out of cash but to workaround FFP apparently. Do they really have a way out unless they sell ?
I’m not saying our stand is wrong , and Inter of all clubs deserves it as well , but we have to be careful not to ward them off , all things considered .
An unhappy Lukaku might turn out to be a waste of squad space compared to Pogba who can still offer something due to his natural talent.
It depends, if you think they are lying and are just trying to get a cut price deal, then very wise, if it's the only way for the deal to be done not super wise.
However, I don't think Lukaku is the type of person to down tools so it'll be fine.
Still not understanding everyone’s obsession with ‘screwing’ Inter. The Perisic of two years ago is more a £50 million player than Lukaku is a £80 million player.

I don't want to screw Inter, but their buy now pay later deal doesn't benefit anyone but them. Ergo, they can eat a dick.
So we should just ignore 2 years worth of extreme price inflation, the fact we paid £75m for Lukaku, the fact Conte really really wants Lukaku, wait 3 years for Inter to pay the money, just because Perisic might have been a decent player?

Because they are taking the piss with this loan bollocks. Now, I would entertain a deal which obligates them to his transfer for 60m in two years with no small print but we should also have the option if somehow his stock goes up in the meantime we can sell him to whoever we want. I just feel Inter play difficult when selling a player but equally take the piss when trying to buy.
We OVERpaid £75 million for him, he’s not been a success, and we clearly don’t want him because he was behind Rashford under the new manager. All of these things would decrease his value.
The majority of transfers involve fees being paid in segments. How is this hard to grasp. Do you think PSG just handed over £180 million in one go for Mbappe. The loan is clearly a way around financial fair play. It’s not like we can’t spend money until we have it.

Look at the VVD transfer and the tapping up saga. That’s how it works for every club however Liverpool upset Southampton with their offer and then Southampton lodged a complaint.
