I think this time next year everyone will be saying Rodri is the best CM in the world at least DM.Is he as good as Longstaff?
Why do people assume that Madrid will be interested in a loan deal where they pay majority of the wages? What do they get from that? Their problem now is that they don’t want him and he’s in very high wages, so there’s no point in sending him away on loan with Madrid playing most of his wages. If a loan deal does happen, Madrid won’t pay more than 25% if his wagesReckon Atletico would be smart to try and sign Bale on a two year loan deal from Madrid (with Madrid paying most o his wages).

Aye, I guess time will tell how they develop. It's actually the first time in a while I am not too disappointed about us signing some promising youngsters. But yeah, our transfer policy has been a shambles since SAF left. We'll see how he develops. But my point was that we're apparently spending 30m on Longstaff, and we're okay to see how he develops. Why not spend 40 on a guy who is proven in the league, has played internationally and is only a year older? I just don't understand anything about our transfer policy, and the fact that Leicester and teams like that complete these deals so easily is baffling.

He's a lazy cnut and he gets injured all the time. He would hate Simeone and vice-versa. Plus, Real are not going to pay him to play on the other side of town at a team that's finished above them the last two seasons and may very well do again next.Reckon Atletico would be smart to try and sign Bale on a two year loan deal from Madrid (with Madrid paying most o his wages).

I'm not sure. He's probably two years behind Rodri's development so we don't know his ceiling. My guess is that in 12 months he'll look a bargain and we'll be happy we've got him though. What do you think everyone will be saying about Longstaff in a years time?
This doesn't make sense, if a player doesn't want to sign for you, throwing money at club is pointless.Gotta laugh but Rodri was an obvious one. We're going around offering 70m for Maguire but not potentially the best CDM of the next 10 years. Well done Pep and City. Great signing and still value for money.
Potentially Losing Pogba, Lukaku & Hererra in one window doesn't sound ideal for United. What's the Caf's thoughts if those three were to leave this summer?
Fine with Lukaku leaving, the other two less so. Losing Pogba when we have so many gaping holes already and with no obvious replacement on the market would be especially awful.Potentially Losing Pogba, Lukaku & Hererra in one window doesn't sound ideal for United. 75% of the wages and they might well be tempted. We should make a 2 year loan bid for Bale.. 50% of the wages..
There is no way Madrid would accept it... just for a laugh.
Would any one be willing to make a Free XI team comprised of freebies that Bayern Munich and Juventus have nabbed over the years.I have a feeling DDG to Juventus for free is actually going to happen.

Disastrous with the players we are linked with.
At the start of the summer, potentially, we were looking to add RB, RW, CB, CM and CDM. We were always aware of Herrera leaving. Now throw into the mix, the possibility, of Pogba, Lukaku and De Gea leaving. De Gea is less likely, though if he's not signing that extension, I'd rather we sell than a free next summer. A lot of positions to potentially fill, something that can't be done within one transfer window. Again, this all merely hypothetical.Potentially Losing Pogba, Lukaku & Hererra in one window doesn't sound ideal for United. What's the Caf's thoughts if those three were to leave this summer?

Well agreeing a release clause is with the selling club. However, there is also a player's wish to join whatever team he wants. For example, De Ligt had his release clause met by multiple teams (including us, if Reddit ITKs are to be believed). Its who he decides to join thats important. We'll never know I guess. If he would've came. A release clause is a release clause. Had we coughed up like City have it may have happened. Young and hungry player.
I read he's hoping to be back for pre-season.Has Sean Longstaff recovered from his injury then?
