Not if we're not interested they can't. I get your point about Woody but I really think the Sanchez fiasco must have taught him a lesson in this regard.
OGS rushed appointment as permanent manager going back on the supposed plan, and Martial fat new contract (before DOF appointment) doesn't give me optinism of lesson learned.

Losing Pogba, then in business sense, a statement signing to replace the previous statement signing is needed. We know Woodward interest lies with commercial performance. An educational guess is that his hand would get itchy. Pogba is the key of this next move.

Sure that's fair enough, Woody isn't going to stop making mistakes or suddenly start to run this like a proper football club. But then again, that wasn't my point either. I'm not saying the Sanchez feckup taught Woody how to run a football club properly, just that I think he'd think twice before handing a mammoth contract to a declining 30 y/o superstar again, especially one with Bale's injury history.

Am I the only one who thinks your agent talking about solely cash as the motivator for a move makes the pair of you look like total bell ends?

Spot on. Exactly the sort of mercenary we should be avoiding. A lot of people complaining about the briefing that we've moved away from star signings, like quality players don't want to come here. First, I don't think that's true. We could absolutely sign the likes of Bale this summer. Secondly, I'm delighted with the change in tactics. Just listened to Gary Neville on Sky talking about the need for 11 players on the field that actually want to play for United, run to the last second. This is the criteria we should look at for any new signing. Most of the Galacticos that would be available would be in it for the money. Youth and ambition should be the key words for our recruitment this summer.

I don't want him anywhere near here unless it's bargain bottom, near-zero-risk price. Which considering they paid £150m for him, there's 0 chance of happening.

Well, he's 26 and he's quality. that's for sure.

At 80/90 Mil top, i wouldn't mind taking him.

Bale on the other hand can piss of far away from this club. Let the mercenary that he is rot in the reserve.

Woodward is reportedly quite keen on Trippier and we've been linked to Declan Rice. I expect Bale will end up coming this way as part of a deal for Pogba.

I would only expect 3/4 incoming players.
Nothing is suggesting Bale to United.

In reference to being in the Europa League, Solskjaer, in his post-match press conference after the Huddersfield game, said "the youngsters will get chances" and then later mentioned the possibility of using Greenwood, Garner, Chong in that competition. Video is on the official website, 2nd half of the press conference. https://www.manutd.com/en/videos

I would expect the 4 chosen youngsters to feature in Europa League and the two domestic Cup competitions, for development purposes. If any of them perform at a reasonable level, they would then get opportunities in the PL.

Had we been in the CL then perhaps some of them would have been loaned out.
Yeah, makes sense.

Wonder how many of his clients will ditch him if they really want to move this summer!

If the Italian FA suspend him then how does that affect say a client of his in England/Holland going to Spain? Is his licence granted by a particular association?

There have been some reports In Italy that Manchester United have declared an interest in Dybala, however, our sources are telling us and the information we have is that in fact United have agreed in principle to pay the 100m euros (£86m) buyout clause that it would take to get Dybala out of Juventus.”

I dont think it reflects well on Bale particularly, the cash grab like you say and him clinging onto to somewhere he's clearly not rated makes him look like a massive bellend.
